write write

The more I write, the more I try to understand what is inside my head is thinking.
The more I think, the more I want to write even more and to plot the story.
The more I plot, the more I get confused on what to write.
Thinking and writing, I'm confused by my plot of writing.

I get lost through words the longer the more confusing as it is to double-speak.
Double-speak a play of words, they may sound different by they mean something.
Lost through words, confusing words in many languages.
writing in different languages, a true linguist, just hoping not to get lost in translation.

Writing, an art. Literative art, I admire literature. The fine waste of paper filled imaginative intentions to pleasure the readers. It's an art that is informative, pleasuring and sometimes misleading. But truth within literature. Truly there is. Searh and seek within and truth you shall find.

Writing and typing, same thing. Typing a blog is informative, pleasuring and misleading at times. But it's a figure of freedom of speech through a blog. We speak through our experiences and our views. And we play poetry, short stories and life diaries in these virtual tools.

Write write, I like writing. It's a pleasure. Reading is fun fun as so as writing.

In Sleep.... We need

I lack of sleep at the moment, I only get about 3 to 7 hours of sleep nowadays. Why? I sleep late that's why. Why do I sleep late? Watching DVDs and going online and watching football and playing my newly repair xbox 360 and reading books and using facebook (and getting annoyed by friends for sale [which I plan to stop using friends for sale soon, as I see that it's an app that no one really likes]) and also this blogging. Whining aren't I? I ain't, just saying.

People need sleep, we all really do but sleeping late (having found out what happens when we sleep late) is absolutely bad! As learnt that sleeping late disrupts our sleeping patterns, likewise causing biological problems which will be really bad for your body. Where did I find out about this? Who else from my mom who is a nurse! Likewise, we need to sleep at an appropiate time where our body will love and sleep more not sleep less, be like garfield when he sleeps! or maybe lazy at same time too.

I'm getting my international license next week after chinese new year! which I am looking forward of seeing what kind of lincense it is! Hopefully is better than a piece of paper.
Also recently, I've recently found out via newspaper, all the courses in UBD are 28 points plus....which is annoying as I only got about 25 points and I don't get what is first degree that was mentioned if you got at least 24 points to enter. In addition, no courses that I'm interested though.

Smokers

I hate them, I hate people who smoke...why? well one thing for sure it's extremely bad for their health if they keep on smoking and they'll die sooner than usual. Also, when I see people who smoke, I can see what has happened to my dad (when he used to be a heavy smoker) when I was in year/grade 6 in the year 1999. What kind of image? On a hospital bed in the ICU, with a tube down his mouth, through his throat and in his lungs sucking all of slimely flem....it's painful to watch you know, me as a young kid, watching my dad in a live or die state where the probability of living is 50-50. In the end, after a long gruelling 2 months he survived, the doc said "He was lucky to survive" the case was severe pneumonia, where all the flem and tar was stuck in his lungs and had to use a tubing to suck all of it out and hoping that he'll survive which he did.
That time, it was hardest for me actually. Painful. Very painful indeed. You want to tell what happen? I better not as it'll be a long one.
I just hope smokers would JUST listen to PEOPLE expecially their RELATIVES and LOVED ONES, because they care for their health.

Anyways I'll go off and see you as soon as I blog again.

172

This is post number 172 since I've started blogging in the mid-year of 2005. I didn't even realize that I've gone over the 150 posts already! How did it get to 172? well I've been counting my number of posts from my two old blogs (I don't want to add in myspace blog since I didn't really use much of it....If I did it'll be around 178[including this post] post already) and also my recent blog which the one you reading now.

I realized my style of blogging change by skimming through my old blogs, and I used to swear alot in my old blogs (I do before now I changed to refraining thyself from swearing)....so yea that changed alot. I used to blog like as if I am speaking, compared that to now it's very different! [wait...all blogs are mostly first person rght?]
One thing that stayed the same is that I always blog once or twice or sometimes trice! The itch to blog something is always there!

At moment, I can see that I'll be able to reach 200 posts soon this year! yeash very soon!

And if you are annoyed with the picture of the week being on top of the page, let me know then I'll change the layout again which is no problem at all.

Reader's Digest Goodies

I've been reading readers digest since well bit when I was 12 until 17, now after my final exams since May/June 2007 and during University/College (I got to get used to the bloody American English) entrance exams in September/October 2007. where I've been commonly reading it now. And I've got this article from last month. It's about our favorite cat Garfielfd, and it's a Good-Life Guide. So here it is!

Garfield's Good-Life Guide

You never really own a cat. You can only make him happy and hope he won't leave you for someone better, like the pizza guy. Here are some morsels of advice:

Let the cat make the first move
Don't come to me and expect me to rejoice. I will come to you - on my own terms and in my own time. When I meet a new human, I know immediately whether he's a cat person. If he pets me and suffocates me with hugs, yuck! It's so over. But if he ignores me or is allergic or terrified, I find him irresistible. Unlike indiscriminate dogs, a cat likes a challenge. Always let the cat make the first move, or suffer the consequences.
Be Polite
If I bring a dead rodent, I expect thanks. If you're not in the mood for a rodent, get in the mood. Appropriate responses: scratching behind my ear, praising me and putting the gift on some sort of pedestral or perhaps in a well-lit china cabinet.
Do I look like I need a dog?
I appreciate that you're thinking of me, but seriously, a dog? Why not throw me in a barrel of drool and roll me in fleas? The dogs that licked your face just rinsed down the litter box treats with toilet water. Yummy.
Learn the language.
A giant meow when you're petting me means "That's nice; you may continue." A long drawn-out meow means "I'm hungry, feed me or I'll poop in the bathtub." A low, throaty meow means "My litter box is most unpleasant." A hissing meow is "You idoit, you're standing on my tail!"
14 to 18 hours a day of napping is normal
I'm not lazy, depressed or narcopleptic. I'm tired. You would be, too, if you had as much on your mind as I do.

Interesting guide yea?

Here's some interesting sites recommended by Reader's Digest from this year's February issue.

Facebook.com - yeash they recommended it, to meet new people and you know keep in touch with friends and such. (note, the addiction of facebook non-stopable)

Faceresearch.org - where you quizs and such to show charateristics and stuf. Pretty interesting you know?

brainbashers.com - give your mind a work out! It's all fun and educational! like logical games, quizzes and more!

Top Tip for computer users from reader's digest, take 3 to 5 minutes break and look at distant objects after 30 to 40 minutes of computer work (or surfing).

Another interesting fact, that is from my previous quiz (I know some ofyou who took the quiz). I put "eating red is likely to have the risk of cancer" which is true! I got that from Reader's Digest.

Anyways, I gotta go and apply for an international driver's license (only $15 no biggie).

Doomsday.......?

It's 5 minutes to doomsday. I'm serious, IT'S FIVE MINUTES TO DOOMDAY! The doomsday clock that is. Why did I say that? well it was in news last year, and I've watched a documentary which I fell asleep when I was watching it for the first time but this time I stayed a wake. The documentary documented the doomdays clock. The clock is a prediction of how many minutes is it til the world goes into a nuclear war aka world war 3 (which I pray there wouldn't be). The clock moves depending on the events in history where conflicts and eventful events affect the movement of the clock's minute hand forward to the midnight (as you notice the time this is posted, it's strike midnight) or away from midnight, meaning the furtherer the minute hand is the more probablity it is for peace while the closer it is to midnight the more likely it is for a nuke war.

For more information, visit these following websites for your heart's content of information!

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Doomsday_clock
http://www.thebulletin.org/

While on topic of Doomsday...what does doomsday means to us?

To scientist and historians alike, doomsday is the war that will destroy the entire human race where the weapons would cause devastating destruction to every nation and not only that it's also biological warfare as well.

To religion is the great and divine judgment of us humans where true believers would go to heaven through a rapture and also following what is written in the bible called the revelation where it'll e the great battle of good and evil and much more. By the way this may differ from your beliefs.

To us regular students, it's a different case. Doomsday is the final examinations where we'd prepare mind-blowingly to burst our brains til it's jammed pack with information. Also It's results of exams (I remember when doomsday of results was last year and big sigh of relief of passing and plus celebration with my family), where we'd either wait patiently or nervously or both. Also doomsday also means paperwork and major assignments are due in! (ahh sweet memories of my fellow IB compatriots running around to get everything in time).

To normal everyday (working) people, it'll be the end of the world where the world just dies (like the conspiracy that the world would die and Y2k bug, millenium disasters and everyone has to evacuate and conserve supplies [yes, i still have clear memory of people panicing before the year 2000]) or same situation as the students where they'd panic for due paperwork.

So yeah....those are some doomsday views.

Me? I just hope doomsday stay as far as paperwork, major projects and due in work. I mean, no one really want a doomsday that will destroy the world. Since life starts as soon we're born and life ends whenever we die either purposely, naturally or suddenly but it'll continue on during the after life. And life, we got a rollercoaster ride we've got to enjoy. And live longer and yea....

Anyways, see you when I see in my blog post soon!

Dead Blogs

This post is for the dead blogs out there in the world wide (very wide and informative yet sometimes misleading) web, may the dead blogs rest in megabytes that they'll be never be forgotten for the joys, laughter, shock, amusement, tears, memories and the tagging fun on the tagbox.

I realized by going through my list of fellow bloggers (by check constantly day in and out), I found out that there about 5 to 7 people who still blog while the rest are practically R.I.M (rest in megabytes) in other words dead.

I guess blogs will die out soon as soon people get into something like school, university, work, a very long holiday, got nothing to talk about other important stuff to do and other private matters they have to do (you should know as you age/grow older).

But some blogs comeback to life! like a blog user discovers that he or she hasn't blogged for months (like me during my long holidays and trips to Philippines for my exams) or people have finally come up with an idea on what to talk about or after a year without blogging they frantically search for their social-networking accounts if they've placed their blog site in their profile then try to remember the password and so on.

Before I go off...
I'd like to ask people who are commonly visiting this blog of ranting random and boredom yet still finding it interesting (or not....maybe I guess). The question is...

Will you keep your current email? or change to a new one?

I know I have two other emails (yahoo and Gmail) for a note (feel free to ask through the magical tagbox or the miracles of MSN messenger) but I won't change my current email. So be glad and rejoice.

I'll see you when I see you!

Maybe soon

Not too soon

After a few more hours that is!

Lucky?

When people ask me "do you have any brothers and sisters?"
My answer is "I'm an only child"
Then people go on saying "You are lucky"
"Lucky?" in my thoughts.
I say "I'm not lucky to be an only child."
"Then why not? you get everything you want right?"
I reply "I do get them, and there's a lot of family love but without any brothers and sisters. I have pressure, to do everything well and for a better future. I have more responsiblity for myself and my family. I always feel lonely no matter how many friends I have. It's hard I tell you"
"I wish, I was an only child"
I reply "Never wish to be an only child"
"Why?"
I answer "You are lucky to have brothers and sisters, look at me. You can sense the lonilness I have in my heart for numerous of years, even though I have friends."
"Why don't you have any brothers and sisters?"
I fell in silence when people ask me that question.
I reply "Miscarriage, no one knew about it until now."
Shock in their eyes.
I continued "Three times, I suppose to have siblings. But during giving birth, well the baby died as fetus (starting stage of baby growing). It's really hard for me to talk about it, since it's painful...."
In silence.

my message, if you have brothers and sisters I consider you as the most luckiest person in the planet, and never wish that you never have any sisters or brothers (or they've never been born nor exsisted). Why? you'll be facing what many only child might be facing through their life. (I know lonilness, get lots of thing you want but think about how life would be if you were an only child)

By the way, the conversation on the top. Is true when people ask me. As well the miscarriage part is true. (rarely people ask me about "why don't you have brothers and sisters" and I've never shared it with people up until now)

I'll see you when I see you!
Have a nice day! (Bon Jovi's song)

Krabby

Yes, the title is a name of a pokemon and I don't remember all the 251 (and increasing) pokemon since as a wee little boy.

Why the title?

I learned how to kill a crab just now, my mom taught me prior before cooking the crabs for dinner (which i didn't eat, I ate my own cook noodles with fish)....It felt like killing a human, with a big knife. But the difference was the the hard-soft shell on the mid-section the crab. "That's where the crabs life source" I quote from my mom. Then she showed me how to take the err in a imaginery way, the black/brown stuff like when you go to the toilet and do the number 2. yeash that image, cleaning it.

I told myself after killing the crab, I shall never ever kill another crab. I feel sorry for the crabs running away then caught and stabed then cooked.

So. SAVE KRABBY! I mean. CRAB. So crab a pokeball and catch krabby! (must restain, Pokemon memories....)

Third post today....kick me for fourth time lucky if I do blog.

One annoying thing happen the other day was my external hard drive got formatted, yeash 80gb hard disk drive formatted along with my about 6 months worth of anime, scrubs and heroes download. Luckily I didn't put any of my paper work in it.

I got to run to the moon, adios

Imagine

Imagine By John Lennon

Imagine there's no Heaven
It's easy if you try
No hell below us
Above us only sky
Imagine all the people
Living for today

Imagine there's no countries
It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion too
Imagine all the people
Living life in peace

You may say that I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will be as one

Imagine no possessions
I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
A brotherhood of man
Imagine all the people
Sharing all the world

You may say that I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will live as one

It's one of my favorite songs, and this song is nice even though people are saying it's "OLD" but it's a really nice song!.

And again please pause the Featured song on the right if you want to watch the music video. And if there's an ad on that video, please ignore it. Thank You

A Month

It's a month gone since the 2008 new year, massive celebrations here and there, while some like me spent it with their family and welcome the new year. After several everyone is back to work, school or bored mode. And time seems to slower than usual or it's just me?

February is coming so soon next week, Ash Wednesday (church), Chinese New Year, Japanese Language Elementary/Beginners Course Starts and of course Valentine's day where many with hopeful hearts, broken hearts and I-don't-really-care-if-it's-valentine's-day people (I'm one of them this year only).

Well, looking through January. I kinda miss Mock exams, the smell of morning air at school, and the sweet crisp papers where we write on when we're under pressure. January we're all hectic to try our to attain our best results to make up for the set down of the previous mock, January, almost all the papers are due. I miss exams actually, the study group, the distractions and much more.
I remember I nearly cried before my Mandarin exam (both finals and mocks), why? I really want to learn mandarin and I really tried my best to memorize all the grammer and characters. I practiced all night-long with only a few hours of sleep jamming everything into my head. And guess what? I passed! level 4 = C = Passed! I think it's the oral exam that boosted the grade. Xie Xie Tsui Laoshi!
I still remember that I always over writing during the english and history papers (usually going over 8 pages reaching up to 15 pages(this was my max), and still passed.
I really miss going to school, waking up around 5am [I wake up 4 am sometimes, to catch a mandarin TV show to improve my listening skills] then going to school around 6:15am then going around the school as a morning walk to exercise abit then sit and wait for just woken friends.
During exams is a different story, sleep 11pm after revising and cramming then wake up 3am continue cramming go to school 5:45am then cram more then exam then cram more for the next exam.
I know I'm looking back at those joyful and pressured times, but it's good to look from time to time. Like being the first one to finish the EE (Extended Essay), being ahead of the bounce of the ball, being ahead of everyone in getting things done....I organize and plan, which is an important skill I learned throughout my IB career in ISB. Also to help out people when they're stuck.

Currently, well I'm just preparing myself to move to philippines where I'll be semi-free, because I'll be staying at my grandparents' place (grandma's yummy veggies). Preparation like cooking stuff by myself and laundry and fixing the bed and so on. But I'm struggling to fix my tagalog grammer. And also trying to save money....I've been overly spending on books, clothes, games, some movies and anime...you can say I'm quite nearly broke hehe.....it's true I'm a drunk when I have cash.
But I'm looking forward for Philippines anyways, the books there is cheaper than here in brunei and you get your money's worth of neil gaiman and many more various books.

Also, I've been downloading ebooks. For university and personal use, like Psychoogy handbook (which I told myself not to print the 1000 plus pages...it'll be a masscare of trees if I do that) and some philosophy books.

Anyways II got to wii now...I mean got to go off and drive all night I mean day, I mean daydream when my parents disallow me to drive hahaha

See you when I see you

Bugging

I like bugs, you know insects. They are interesting creatures of the planet and also they help the enviroment! For example, ants. Ants cut down stray plants that may obstruct each other. They're interesting because of their body structure, motives and purpose in the green green world. Likewise the bees for pollination (spelling?) of the flowers and also more interesting and helpful bugs! And also keeping the balance of nature meaning the survival of the fittest, like spider eat rat or spider eat beetle or spider eat moth.

BUT they can be increadably annoying, like ants carrying your bits of food, flies flying around (which is the reason why we those blue lights thingy), mosquetos (damn vampires) and errr those are currently the most annoying bugs to us human beings in the moment. Like for example what happened to me in philippines about 3 to 5 years ago an ant bit both my eyes when I soundly asleep and it swollen til touching my glasses and barely see for a week, quite a weird week for me though seeing things with swollen eyes is definately hard.
But then, I just advise you to leave the ants and other annoying bugs if they're outside your homes, if they're in your homes and annoying, call bug-sprayman! dial 2000008! remember they deal with "non-dangerous bugs" so be cautioned before calling.

17) Ducks and chickens will live in equal harmony
18) Nintendo Wii is still the leading game console
19) History repeats itself
20) If you put mentos then drink a fizzy drink, there'll be a blast of fizz coming out your mouth (i don't suggest you to experiment with this)
21) Friends last forever
22) Jump during the new year and you'll grow taller
23) Feng Shui is sometimes true
24) astrology is interesting
25) Facebook ROCKS
26) Studying Family trees and Ancestors is a complicated matter
27) Playing games always the way og relaxing
28) Reading is better than movies
29) Music is the sounds of life
30) people always turn off alarm clocks once they woke up

Please do answer that, this is just for fun anyways!

Currently I can NOT wait to start night school! it's only four more weeks then it starts! Japanese elementary language coursse! I cannot wait, since people in Philippines currently thinks I'm Chinese (always always, also in brunei), Korean (when i had my long hair and the korean mall goers in philippines kept looking at me) and rarely Japanese (same reason with korean bit).
The reason I want to study the language because my dream is to travel to japan and work there or maybe study there for my masters after four years. Add to the current languages I know (abit) of which are french (can understand abit), mandarin (I can pick up the characters I recognize when I read) and tagalog (still messed up grammer sometimes and pronounciation)
It never hurts to dream you know. I mean, when you dream is like there is always hope on things you do but dreaming too much can separate you from reality. Like career of choice, for example I since a kid dreamt to become doctor, which became imposible since my science is average and only passable. But that dream became anew because of psychology the study of human behavior and understanding the human body's stresses and so on.

That's Why, It never hurts to dream. Because dreams can sometimes come true and pursuing dreams will help you increase your motivation. But you got to face reality, as dreams and reality are different.

If Everyone Cared

If Everyone Cared - Nickelback
Confusing stars for satellites
I never dreamed that you'd be mine
But here we are, we're here tonight
Singing Amen, I'm alive
Singing Amen, I'm alive
If everyone cared and nobody cried
If everyone loved and nobody lied
If everyone shared and swallowed their pride
We'd see the day when nobody died
And I'm singing
Amen I, I'm alive
Amen I, I'm alive
And in the air the fireflies
Our only light in paradise
We'll show the world they were wrong
And teach them all to sing along
Singing Amen I'm alive
Singing Amen I'm alive
If everyone cared and nobody cried
If everyone loved and nobody lied
If everyone shared and swallowed their pride
We'd see the day when nobody died
If everyone cared and nobody cried
If everyone loved and nobody lied
If everyone shared and swallowed their pride
We'd see the day when nobody died
And as we lie beneath the stars
We realize how small we are
If they could love like you and me
Imagine what the world could be
If everyone cared and nobody cried
If everyone loved and nobody lied
If everyone shared and swallowed their pride
We'd see the day when nobody died
We'd see the day, we'd see the day
When nobody died
We'd see the day, we'd see the day
When nobody died
We'd see the day when nobody died
Please enjoy the music video from nickelback and also please pause my imeem music playlist to listen to the video. thank you.
It's a great music video in my opinion.
Just Enjoy!

Thoughts

Unable to knock myself out to sleep, I instead go and watch a couple of DVDs which Ocean's 11 to 13 and a documentary on the iraq war which is quite one sided considering the fact it has most of the congressmen in it, so it is "bias". And then sip a cup of green tea...make it a pitcher instead

Currently, I've been deep in thought and imagining university life. Few things come into mind, will I be a loner? Will I go nuts? Will I ever crossroads with my friends again and meet as if we haven't seen each other for years?

Right now, I am encountered with loneliness and saddness (even though I was quite happy to receive the certificate of contribution for the choir with a wrong spelling of my last name [no biggie]).

Why? I've been thinking about when I leave brunei what will happen? I know brunei will always be the same, peaceful country with crazy drivers but think about it parents and friends. I/you'll be separated from them for a number or numerous years. And having born in Brunei makes it a different story, growing up here made well attached to a country who helped me grow up in a excellent enviroment and so on. I hate leaving. I hate saying good byes. It's hard.

Then you arrive to the counrty you'll be studying in, you'd be either staying with your relatives, parents, friends or maybe alone.

I know it's my thoughts recently...I just well, it's hard really...imagining university life...I'm sure making your own friends is great and all but it'll be hard as you got used to your old friends, I'm sure adapting to the enviroment would be hard but with the help of your parents/relatives will be made easy and learn the ways of life in that country....

When I'm gone, I'm only a midst of your memories as a man who spoke little but wrote too much. Thinking too much? I guess so.

Politics? Law? heck it's like show business now, they're perfect liars. And their immortal enemies are Historians.

On a lighter note, I realize I will be turning into a seafood and veggie eater in Philippines. Why? my grandma's cooking and she's seafood lover and a veggietarian. because during my time in philippines, days before, during and after my entrance exams, all I've been eating is veggie, fish, veggie, fish, meat, veggie, chicken, veggie, veggie, fish and noodles.
Another lighter note, green tea is good for you, trust me it is!
A final lighter note, the calendar was counted wrongly according from a documentary i watched last year, that we are actually a year younger! meaning I'm 18(if i count my birthday this year) or 17

But, we can't change that since, the calendar is now fixed anyways. Unless we make a virtual time machine go back in time and counted the calender correctly...okay maybe not possible

Year

This year, we don't what to expect yet,
This year, we'll work to earn,
This year, we'll go to universities,
This year, some can't drive yet as they're underage,
This year, we'll be able to drive,
This year, we'll listen to some new music albums,
This year, there'll be some interesting movies,
This year, we'll watch more books to movie,
This year, books to movies are going to be badly criticize,
This year, is the time for a change in history,
This year, Life is still moves on,
Every year, we'll grow one more year older,
Every year, we celebrate many celebrations,
Every year, a new website is introduced
Every year, there's changes around us,
Every year, we age,
Every year, some die,
Every year, new life born a new,
Every year, american idol is stil weird,
Every year, there are contraveries,
Every year, we meet new friends,
Every year, we learn to love one another,
Every year, some people are still single,
Every year, some people are dating,
Every year, some people get married
Every year, some people fall in love by their looks,
Every year, some people fall in love by their personality and what's inside their heart,
Every year, some people get heart broken,
Every year, technology evolves,
Every year, there's even more electronic waste,
Every year, religion and science are still in conflict,
Every year, people and children grow fatter through fastfood and junkfood,
Every year, people are still in pursuit to bring down the fastfood and junkfood indsutries,
Every year, music and entertainment still strifing to earn money via copyright laws,
Every year, celebrities becoming politicians
Every year, politicians gets killed,
Every year, there's an enviromental disasters,
Every year, there's a pursuit to improve life span,
Every year, there's a pursuit in saving the enviroment,
Every year, people suffer from diseases and injuries,
Every year, people suffer from wars,
Every year, many different things happen in daily life,
Every year, we don't know what will happen this year,
The following years to come, many things happen.
Some may change out life, some can just be ignored.
That's why enjoy life, be positive, try to still as happy as possible with you've got in your life and of course That's life up and downs is your road of life.
And you never what will happen every year,

I picked out the most commons ones and some most likely to happen every year/monthly/daily basis.

I believe the perfect theme song of the world is nickelback's "if everyone cared", why? here's the lyrics:

From underneath the trees we watch the sky
Confusing stars for satellitesI never dreamed that you'd be mine
But here we are we're here tonight
Singing amen I I'm alive
Singing amen I I'm alive
If everyone cared and nobody cried
If everyone loved and nobody lied
If everyone shared and swallowed their pride
Then we'd see the day when nobody died
And I'm singing
Amen I amen I I'm alive
Amen I amen I amen I I'm alive
And in the air the fireflies
Our only light in paradise
We'll show the world they were wrong
And teach them all to sing along
Singing amen I I'm alive
Singing amen I I'm alive
If everyone cared and nobody cried
If everyone loved and nobody lied
If everyone shared and swallowed their pride
Then we'd see the day when nobody died
If everyone cared and nobody cried
If everyone loved and nobody lied
If everyone shared and swallowed their pride
Then we'd see the day when nobody died
Nobody died
And as we lie beneath the stars
We realize how small we are
If they could love like you and me
Imagine what the world could be
If everyone cared and nobody cried
If everyone loved and nobody lied
If everyone shared and swallowed their pride
Then we'd see the day when nobody died
If everyone cared and nobody cried
If everyone loved and nobody lied
If everyone shared and swallowed their pride
Then we'd see the day when nobody died
Nobody died
We'd see the day we'd see the day
When nobody died
We'd see the day we'd see the day
When nobody died
We'd see the day when nobody died
This is my opinion, but if you read the lyrics you might be able to see that if everyone cared the enviroment won't be like it is now, if everyone cared then war would then turn to peace, if everyone forget about their pride we're a unity, if everyone cared for each other no one would cry, if everyone would share/care to donate then no one would suffer, and "singing amen, I'm alive" means thank god we're still alive through our life of ups and downs. That's my opinion of what the song could mean.
But think about it, If everyone did care, imagine how the world could be, I know I can be optimist (spelling?) sometimes, the world maybe a better place, the world wouldn't be in chaos, the world wouldn't be dying off through enviromental problems.

Just imagine, think and believe.

Hmmm....

February is coming, meaning Chinese New Year is coming up (where restaurants, grocery stores and malls are already in the mood and playing dongy chingy changy dingy cha cha....also means Lilian Too's Feng Shui lecture in Astro is going to be on show again) and also Ash Wednesday (a day before CNY). Japanese elementary/beginners course is coming up and ya, that's that coming up for feb for me (only a 5 week course) which will be interesting.

Currently what's bothering me is the news from football really, the news about the american owner of Liverpool FC (I just celebrated/self-celebration the 8th year of supporting that club). The news was that Hicksy talked Klinsmen for the manager's job which to me an insult to what Rafa has done for the club, bringing back the glory days that were almost long gone for us Liverpool supporters. So ya...

Also, I've learned Psychology is on-demand at the moment in Brunei and Singapore currently, so I made a right choice of thinking of the switch from accantancy to psychology. In addition, I heard that'll be an interesting and challenging course because you have understand the true motives of people and why they're doing this and that and their purpose as well. Psychology is the study of human behavior anyways. But I'm aiming for medicine psychology not legal (or law) psychology because I don't want to face too much peer pressure from protecting or investigating criminal minds and I'm more on wanting to help people through health reasons and such.

Ummm, I know not many of you watch anime but I just got to say this is that Anime that are dubbed into different languages other than Japanese, it sounds absolutely weird! I mean seriously there's no emotion from those dubbing, and whenever I watch an anime that is dubbed I'd go what in the world? nani? nandeska? But I understand that you've got to dub for the sake of the people watching it to understand other than putting subtitles or something. I hate being critic on things sometimes...

In my mind recently is about leaders, you know those people you probably see in the news or read in newspapers or books or your teachers or your coach or the principal or the boss of your dad or the alien mamaship soaring in the night sky (okay maybe not). You've got wonder, what does it takes to be a leader? I, for myself understood that it's difficult being a leader because I've led a painting team to RIPAS. I discovered that it takes more than just being responsible, because there's be reliability, trustworthness and commitment to the job. Of course you'd understand why you those three, but there's one other thing which the heart for the job meaning the passion for doing the job. Like for example in the world of football, Steven Gerard, he's got those qualities to lead a club as captain and carry the burden as well. Another example would be Stalin, why Stalin? yes he was brutal in his rein as leader of the USSR but he didn't lack any of those, he had a big responbility to bring up the USSR from the grounds of the 1920s revolution and civil war, he has to show that the people of the country can rely on his action and to show why they must trust him through his speeches and he commited him self for the job and also the heart for the job. However, with these qualities that was need he had to show brutality and fear to people i.e terrorizing the masses and showing that there's an enemy among the people. Well, this is my opinion and I am hoping for the best for the elections that are going to take place this year because I don't want to see another leader like the president of the philippines (which i don't see any of candiates fits in), the USA elections and other elections around the world

Oh yea, I'll leave you a departing riddle:

I come twice a week,
Once a year but
never in a month.
What am I?

Anyways, I'll see you again next week or before chinese new year!

ザ・ペーパー

The title means "The Paper", codename of one of favorite anime character...so any relation to what am I going to write? well yeash actually.

I've currently currently made up mind up to do Psychology under medicine, hence it's interesting to study human actions and behaviors. And it's something new to me which will definately challenge me and of course the use of Theory Of Knowledge from IB will help me out in for this subject (and stressing the fact psychology wasn't in our subject choice in our year group in IB). Also, this will fullfil my childhood dreams of a doctor (but it'll be a psycharitist instead), but I've been doing my reading which resulted Psychology is well linked to many areas such as school, medicine, law and other more such as studies of different areas.

In definate relation to the title, I am currently reading H.G Wells' book called A Short History of the World. It's an interesting book actually since I just began reading it just now. By just skimming through the contents can show that it'll be an interesting book like "The Age of Fishes" as one of the subtitles.

furthering into the discuss of history, I'd like to discuss that several predictions that were made by nostradamus may come true. Why? well from my knowledge of nostradmus, he was known to be a man who can see the future and accurate at most times. Such as for example the event of Kennedy's death in the 1960s. nostradamus predicted that "a world leader will be killed whilst passing the misty bushes" (the quote is not accurate, base on my memory from documentary i bought). which may be indeed true hence the assassin was believed to be a set up and such many cospiracies follows. Another good example would be when he predicted that in the future, there'll be many nature disasters and epdemic (spelling) which lead to a rise on deaths. which is quite true if you overlook modern history there has been recently many geological disasters and also epdemic may occur anytime in the 2000s onwards which most likely a dangerous virus that will cause devastation to many. Furthermore, he predicted that there'll be World War 3 (which i pray that there wouldn't be), he predicted that it'll be a war that will cost millons of human lives and the warfare is like no other wars. furthermore, he predicts eternity peace after this war where the world was reborn and peace will be forever...
I am not really saying that you should really trust nostradamus' prediction, I am just saying it is very very possible and also that it's been currently debated whether historians should really trust his writings of prediction since there has been many predictions made that are complete false and inaccurate, however nostradamus is somewhat different.

for further information http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nostradamus

Conluding that, I am "For" the historians who are urging that his writings maybe true but I have complete faith on god that he'll lead on and on til we die.

anyways,
See you soon!
I gotta get a 2 nap since I'm going to UBD to apply for the japanese course to go one step closer to my dream country! Jia-Ne!

Good News! Bad News...

Saturday, I usually love Saturdays since it's the final day of the week and it's relaxation time from doing chores and so on...But today was an exception, why? I got bad news from my numero uno choice University in Philippines, meaning that I fail my entrance exam and not accepted (which sucks since various/most universities in the whole world doesn't need to take entrance examination hence taking a grueling two year IB course)...so yea it's pretty much a big down side for me...and my whole day was just depressing and sulking about the house...
So apparantly for my second choice of University/College....I am having a hard time making a decision whether I should take psyhchology under medicine and fulfilling my barely forgotten childhood dream of becoming a general doctor or take up business management for law which is my current career choice...headache no?

But apart from the bad news, i got good news as well, I'm applying Japanese language course this week in UBD which is great! because it'll be one step closer to my dreams of going to japan and working there!

And more bad news.....left ankle is in pain and acting supremely funny lately...

And Good news, Bush is gonna get bombed by Laiden!

Even more good news! Hilary steps down as president of the united states and her husband Billy takes up the post.......wait that's bad news...

Anyways, the elections in the US of Who I am uping for the Obama hence it's time for a big major change! while in the elections in the republic of the Phil-pines has no future what so ever and would never raise up unless they do what Stalin did...which is the purging of the government and elimination of several government officials or threats to his regime, while in Phil-pines case...purging of elimination of undesirable corrupted officials and politicians...in which will not happen in a hundred years until someone actually does it..and also show trials might become quite useful hence embarassment and hulmination infront of the masses showing that he is an enemy(or truly corrupt)...

I better stop, hehe

See ya anyways!

P.S: E-Voting is very useless....can be easily rigged by professional hackers and such.
Also note, more sleep is good, less sleep really good!

Goodbyes and aches...

First of all goodbyes,
Today in the early hours of thursday morning i waved and said good bye to alvin lee(with his dad and sister) who is now off to Singapore to study in university the arts of cooking. Which sounds quite enjoyable and interesting due to my interest in cooking and eating food...
I hope him all the best and crossed fingers and hopes that we may crossroads as two friends again...While last few months ago around August/September/October, i bid goodbye to one of close friends as well, Lukman, off he flew to indonesia with his mom where he'll be doing 'Arts' in university...which i do hope him all the best as well..

There is a saying I heard many times, "People come and go, while friendships last forever" which indeed is very truthful because friends last forever within their hearts.

Now, will be aches
Currently i have left shoulder aches....more like a strain while my left ankle is acting funny again and yet painful since it's nearly a year upon spraining my ankle for the third time....second time was in philippines while playing basketball where i made a private and quick recovery and the first time was when i was in the immigration during year 9 to get my IC and visa..so ya...

And also my plans for the Brunei to Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia, then Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia to Brunei then Brunei to Singapore then Singapore to Philippines is nearly to reach a green light hence my parents are still yet to make a decision for the full green light for my plan of "Fly-there-to-here-and-there" plan.....so ya hopefully in April-May. (we might add some other countries on my flying plan)

Now, I'll be off to the land of games where I yet in pursue to finish some sports games and two rpg games and also to finish The Godfather Returns then start reading Fragile things by Neil Gailman and Sun Tzu's The art of war and A Short History of the world by H.G.Wells...alot reading to do hahaha

Jia-ne!(that's "see you" in japanese)

P.S: Please do recommend a topic that i could discuss.....I'm getting bored haha

As Usual...

Well, the new year always has a big banging start! but then after the first day of the new year, it's now more of a normal day for everyone once again after having a christmas/new year break. Like some still in their gap year doing jobs or having a long break for their minds or applying for universities or leaving during the month of january or february to their dorms/home in a country to study in university or like me a gamer who just enjoys playing games and cooking and helping around the house (and voluntarily help with my parent's paper work). Or like some that are going to school again while still in holiday mode or pressure mode as they have exams or happy-to-be-back in school mode (in which I know not many would be in this mode).

As far as I can say 2008, will be a great year as we students will be adapting to a way of life in countries where we studying for university (or may not need adapting because they've lived there already). So, I'll be hoping for everyone to be well and enjoying their new life abroad, hopefully we'll crossroads! Me, of course I plan to visit Kota Kinabalu (haven't been there since my year 11 holiday) or Singapore (haven't been there) or Miri (haven't been there since i was the age of 10) or Brunei (borned and raised in Brunei)....of course these flights for me will be quite affordable and my holidays in philippines is about two months long! which is a very very good thing! haha

Games to watch for this year for me, will be:

1) Ghostbusters
2)The Godfather part 2
3)GTA IV
4) Turok
5) Area 51: Blacksite (it's out, so better buy it)
6) Ninja Gaiden 2
7) Battlefield: Bad Company
8) Resident Evil 5
9) Star Wars: Force Unleashed
10) devil may cry 4
11) FIFA 09
12) NBA Live 09
13) Naruto: Rise of the ninja 2
14) dead or alive 5
15) Mercenaries 2; World in Flames

Currently, they're all shooters, fighting and sports games and my search for an RPG for Xbox 360....I guess i have to spend $25 to buy blue dragon then

Anyways, i got to finish Assassin's Creed and Call Of Duty 4:Modern Warfare.

See Ya next time, have a pleasent year since it's the 3rd january already

5.....4.....3.....2......1.....HAPPY NEW YEAR!! Hello! 2008

Happy New Year Everyone!

It's a big welcome and jeers to the year 2008! The year where we are all hoping for a blast and successful year as most of us are going to universities after a gap year! Also to welcome soon in february the year of Mickey and Minnie Mouse! The Year of the Rat!

First of all, 2007 for me, was a hectic, fun and memorable year!
Why hectic? The exams, The Revision, The pressure on us students during 2007 was off the roof! mocks and finals! then for some it's getting our driving licenses (including me) and maybe interviews and entrance exams for uni.
Why is it fun? well there's BGIC!! hahaha and the free(bore)dom after the exams!
Why is it memorable? Meeting new friends in BGIC!! saying a fare thee well to fellow IB friends after prom night as we walked on towards separate ways!

What to look forward for the new year? Well ALOT of things! Like uni life and errr.....well there's new year's resolution and new year's wishes could be fulfilled! hahaha anyways!

HAVE A BLAST IN THE YEAR 2008!! And May you have a prosperous and successful 2008!
