Common saying by many people, in uni or college is the path to your freedom! and It's fun!
I've asked commonly to many people, how's uni life? Answers I get: Really Hectic and busy, Fun, it's okay, surviving, I'm really busy, I'm having the time of my life!
Now I wonder, is it freedom or fun?
Freedom, yes, from parental guidance and stuff. You're released into the world to learn almost everything by yourself. BUT studying overseas may lead you to an incredable home-sickness and sometimes a struggle because your great (or best) friends aren't there for you to support you when needed or help too. Also separated from your parents is also hard as you'll need their support as well.
Fun, yes and no. Yes because you got freedom to have fun! You go to parties and stuff and without a care for the world what will happen like go on and have a relationship or get drunk or party. But it cannot be fun as well, where you'll be doing work (which can be fun), and the peer-preassure of course to succeed.
Of course, I'll say it depends on what you see is freedom and fun. Me? Freedom is being given alittle because as we mature we learn from past mistakes and we always learn something new. It's more like freedom to learn.
Fun for me is very much the work being done in college, likewise the field trips and so forth. We'll of course interact with people and meet new people in class which is also fun. But it's mainly work.
But this the bigger frame. Your education is paid by either a scholarship or your parents. And remember scholarships can be withdrawn sometimes. And Remember it's your parents money on the line! Fail you've wasted your parents' money. Succeed will be happiness. ALWAYS REMEMBER THAT OUR PARENTS' LIFELONG GIFT IS OUR EDUCATION. So sometimes it's best to take this seriously than anything, because it is important to bring happiness for your parents and family.
I choose to study in philippines because:
- I'll be living with my grandparents, which will get rid some of home sickness
- Gives me more responsiblity, I have to pass with all my might and take care of my grandparents
- The college I'm attending is provisional and it's close to where I live (Like fore example Curtin in Miri is a provisional school from the main one in Austrailia)
- The campus is very green, lots of green trees
- I live near to the grocery and bookshop (which are both important)
- I got my library/Study Room/my Room which is nearly finished being built.
- It's also close to brunei
- I get to drive...manual but getting auto soon...my dad is scared that I might burn the clutch
Those are my good reasons for me studying in philippines.

I Copy
I copied this from Lu Wee's blog, I was bored so I decided to answer some questions:
1)What was your dream during childhood?
To be a hero like spider-man or the power rangers (I learned that they're non-exsistant)
2)Do you like rainy days or sunny days? Why?
Any days will do, the weather is unpredicable sometimes
3)Which colour do you like better? Black or White?
Black
4)Who would you marry?
A person who cares, trustful, and loyalty. And doesn't mind me for being too quiet, and some space as well
5)Where do you want to go most? Why?
Right now? College because I'm bored at home nowadays, and still go home to where my family lives. (Both True, I'm living in my Grandparents place and the college I'm going to is closeby) Also I would want to go where my friends are now.(practically almost impossible, BUT I'll be back in Brunei Next year April/May depending if I have Summer course)
6)Which part of yourself do you love the most?
I don't know
7)When you encounter a sad moment, what do you do?
If in absolute depressing saddness, I'll be in my room. Think, cry abit, talk to myself abit and write into my 'secret notebook' in a poem or something. Abit sad, possibly blog or talk/chat to someone or watch something funny to brighten up myself.
8)What are you afraid of losing the most?
My close friends of course, I hope I don't lose contact with them.
9)If you met someone you loved, would you confess to him/her? Or just keep it a secret, observing?
Keep it a secret first and see first. Until I get the courage then maybe I go and confess or know first how she might take it in.
10)List out 3 good points of the person who tagged you.
Hmm I like to play tag when I was little! Tag, you're it!
11)What are the requirements that you wish for your other half?
Cares of course, loyal, trustful. Doesn't have body or face or tongue piercings, doesn't drink or smoke. I don't mind if she can or not plays an instrument nor can(not) sing, can be patient and calmish, quite enviromental, has to be asian, religion won't matter and doesn't matter if she can or not cook, I don't mind cooking.
12)Up to now, what is the moment you regret most?
My stupidity and being a fooled in my teen love life, and also not taking as much pictures as I can.
13)Which type of person do you hate the most?
I don't wanna say...
14)What is your ambition?
To use my psychological knowledge for medicine and help the troubled minded such as autism and so forth.
15)Would you rather be someone else at this very moment?
At this very moment I would rather be in the shoes of someone who is confident and is able to change the world
16)If you can have 2 dreams to come true, what would it be?
For me is to discover my family history, like where did we orginated and so on. The other dream would for my grandmother, her ambition of one her children to be a doctor failed, so I would take upon that role and fulfil her dream doctor.
17)What do you think is most important in your life?
My family and friends
18)Who's your favorite cartoon character?
Does anime counts? if it does it's Kenshin Himura. If Not, it's either garfield or big bird
19)What will you do if the world ends tomorrow?
I'll be wondering why did it end
20)The most worthwhile decision you've ever made in your life so far?
That I'll be doing psychology rather than Business management, which is instead of becoming a lawyer I'll be a Doctor. It'll be well, scarificing myself 100% to make my family happy.
Now to tagged those who are now to be it!
Alvin Lee (will not be able to read this because of his busy life in singapore)
Hamizan (Rarely online)
Lukman (rarely online, enjoying indoneisia)
Nick (a newly devoted Man utd fan[boos])
Lu Wee
Geokyin
Lin Ji
Angelina
And everyone else I met...
To Lu Wee: James Blunt's song 'Goodbye My Lover' I can sing it yeash.
Note: My lovelife post will be posted this week friday.

AND i don't mind applying for a PR (pernament resident) in Brunei, since I stayed here for about 18 years already!

Wondering Ramblings
I wonder what would be people's reaction if put up my "Love" post...It's basically my opinion of Love now and something alittle about my love life during secondary years[year 7-11[excluding IB]){where I was a fool and an idoit}, I'll post it soon this week or so.
I've been wondering alot recently, I know all my posts are present, past and planning of the future/looking ahead. I wonder the past and future, I wander in the present.
Have you ever wonder what are other people are doing right now?
Have you ever wonder if your friends does love/like/miss you?
Ever wondered that the world is dying because of us?
Wondering that the past can be colourful and regretful sometimes?
Wonder what will it be like in the future?
Have you ever wondered that life is long but time is short?
Did you wonder that every time we buy a new gadget, we just throw away the old?
Have you ever wondered that if we've kept and cherish our memories it'll be great tales to tell our children in future?
Have you wonder that education is much more important than falling in love right now?
Wonder why...why does everyday is like a new?
Wonder why businesses and banks are charging us even more?
Have you ever wondered what were your mat/faternal grandparents lives were like? And even their past?
Ever wondered that we might be an incarnation of souls before?
My wondering is ramblings of my thoughts, I think alot, read alot, play alot, work alot, eat alot, cook alot and sing alot.
If I do become a singer after 4 years (since I alreay did one year in brunei and continuing it in philippines), I wonder what it'll be like for me to balance that life and my normal working psychologist life?
Life goes on as we walk on...

BLACKOUT
[moans] Blackout from 4pm to 10pm...so long, it's like watching a bad game of football [notes derby county losing and rolling dead]. The longest one I experience was from 1pm to 12am. Yes that long. It was in philippines, the whole subdivision went into a complete blackout, and so I went to sleep really early that I woke up so early around 12am went the lights went back on.
Moving on, my Recitals last night was nerve wrecking. I sang okayly or good. And Bravely as my teacher told me today in my final lesson today. I've been recommended by my teacher to her colleague in philippines so I can continue my singing. And it's a year already since I began singing!
It's hard to persuade people to quit. People who've been doing it since they were very young. Likewise I'm focusing on drugs, smoking and anything related to those are a definately must stop! I mean seriously! Don't they even thought about their love ones? Family and Friends?
Me? I'm a non-smoker and proud to be a non-smoker. AND I hate smokers [as well I hate perfume and colonge], I'm serious. I hate smokers because it NEARLY killed my father. Likewise if you're my friend/family and you're smoking, it'll be hard on me to understand on why you smoke because I've been an anti-smoker since I found out my dad smokes since I was young!
Moving on more. I'm in a extremely good mood. Because Man Utd Lost! Ermm...what else? I might be leaving on 20th or 21st May. Miri Trip again Looks grim...I'll be buying books this Sunday or so, it's my final buy! Play pool! Watch chinese movie and some funny funny ones...Read mandarin textbooks that were given by Tsui Laoshi...Update? Just those things, Blackout and so on...
OH yeash, Grand Theft Auto IV, coming so soon! I'm HIGHLY anticipating for it! It's the biggest game to be released this year for the new generation of gaming. This week or next week!
I just finished watching Just Follow Law on my laptop just now. [I know luckily My laptop plays DVD], it's VERY FUNNY, Sia Pien Hao! And yet raising issues, like related to civil servants.
I'll post the to-do list, it'll be updated this monday.
Bah I go and have a good time!
See you when I see you

SARS
SARS, remember that? It was the so-called "epidemic" during 2001 to 2004. I always joked to my friends that I have SARS...then saying "No lah, I have sarsi. You want?" BUT I remember one event that my classmates thought I really had sars! It was when I took an extra One Week holiday. It was during a december holiday, I told my mom that I wanna have an extra holiday, just one week will do. So we did take the extra week off. After a week and I arrived in school, my classmates were shocked that I'm back! These are my classmates reactions:
"Eh? I thought you got sars in philippines?"
"You're alive! I thought you died in philippines due to sars!"
"Where were you? I thought you got sars struck and never cameback."
"Everyone thought you died due to SARS"
"Oh..you're back from SARS"
So now I noted to my lifetime note: Never add an extra holiday or else everyone might think you ran off or left for good.
Let's say SARS was over exaggerated by the journalists and newscasters, that made people too cautious and too health freaks. Why? I remember this in our school announcement: "If you have a fever please stay at home and consult a doctor, If you have a cold please wear a mask" here's another announcement: "Those wants a vacination, please apply on the slip we've given". Even worst, people were actually washed their hands before eating! It's a shocker! why? usually when you go to a restaurant people usually don't wash their hands but just wait for food. So what I'm saying is when SARS came out, people became health cautious freaks! they even have hand snetizers in their bags! They became hygenic mad people!
Now it's bird flu, mad-cow and red-sea. It's clearly meats are becoming well goners! Food prices are on rise! And lucky I'm turning vegan (at the moment semi-vegan), veggies and fruits are cheaper than ever! So it's a big laugh at Fastfood restaurants and meat companies. BUT RICE! Why must the price of rice rise!
Anyways I gotta practice See you when I blog.
Here's the song I'll be singing tomorrow night, so those who aren't able to watch me perform. Here's the song I'll be singing and I want you to imagine me singing this song and it's pitching will be song is lower abit than his normal voice. Enjoys!
To Where You Are - Josh Groban
Who can say for certain
Maybe you're still here
I feel you all around me
Your memory's so clear
Deep in the stillness
I can hear you speak
You're still an inspiration
Can it be?
That you are mine
Forever love
And you are watching over me from up above
Fly me up to where you are
Beyond the distant star
I wish upon tonight
To see you smile
If only for awhile to know you're there
A breath away's not far
To where you are
Are you gently sleeping
Here inside my dream
And isn't faith believing
All power can't be seen
As my heart holds you
Just one beat away
I cherish all you gave me everyday
'Cause you are my
Forever love
Watching me from up above
And I believe
That angels breathe
And that love will live on and never leave
Fly me up
To where you are
Beyond the distant star
I wish upon tonight
To see you smile
If only for awhile
To know you're there
A breath away's not far
To where you are
I know you're there
A breath away's not far
To where you are
"Eh? I thought you got sars in philippines?"
"You're alive! I thought you died in philippines due to sars!"
"Where were you? I thought you got sars struck and never cameback."
"Everyone thought you died due to SARS"
"Oh..you're back from SARS"
So now I noted to my lifetime note: Never add an extra holiday or else everyone might think you ran off or left for good.
Let's say SARS was over exaggerated by the journalists and newscasters, that made people too cautious and too health freaks. Why? I remember this in our school announcement: "If you have a fever please stay at home and consult a doctor, If you have a cold please wear a mask" here's another announcement: "Those wants a vacination, please apply on the slip we've given". Even worst, people were actually washed their hands before eating! It's a shocker! why? usually when you go to a restaurant people usually don't wash their hands but just wait for food. So what I'm saying is when SARS came out, people became health cautious freaks! they even have hand snetizers in their bags! They became hygenic mad people!
Now it's bird flu, mad-cow and red-sea. It's clearly meats are becoming well goners! Food prices are on rise! And lucky I'm turning vegan (at the moment semi-vegan), veggies and fruits are cheaper than ever! So it's a big laugh at Fastfood restaurants and meat companies. BUT RICE! Why must the price of rice rise!
Anyways I gotta practice See you when I blog.
Here's the song I'll be singing tomorrow night, so those who aren't able to watch me perform. Here's the song I'll be singing and I want you to imagine me singing this song and it's pitching will be song is lower abit than his normal voice. Enjoys!
To Where You Are - Josh Groban
Who can say for certain
Maybe you're still here
I feel you all around me
Your memory's so clear
Deep in the stillness
I can hear you speak
You're still an inspiration
Can it be?
That you are mine
Forever love
And you are watching over me from up above
Fly me up to where you are
Beyond the distant star
I wish upon tonight
To see you smile
If only for awhile to know you're there
A breath away's not far
To where you are
Are you gently sleeping
Here inside my dream
And isn't faith believing
All power can't be seen
As my heart holds you
Just one beat away
I cherish all you gave me everyday
'Cause you are my
Forever love
Watching me from up above
And I believe
That angels breathe
And that love will live on and never leave
Fly me up
To where you are
Beyond the distant star
I wish upon tonight
To see you smile
If only for awhile
To know you're there
A breath away's not far
To where you are
I know you're there
A breath away's not far
To where you are

Mesmarized, Haunted and Domestic Violence lecture
I feel haunted as I read the Historian, So early in the first 10 Chapters three characters dies!
I feel mesmarized as I read Chinese Cinderella and The Dragon Society, Kung Fu skills in the book!
I'm multitasking [whoopeee] with two books.
Update:
Went to a lecture with my Mom, a lecture on domestic violence. Touching speeches and horrifying tales of cases what happen's in the a domestic home. And also my first time hearing there's actually Husband Abuse...When I get a wife, I'll remain loyal to her...Why? The story was that the man was whacked by things that were thrown at him from his wife because he was already caught in the act with another lady and refused to response truthfully...so that explains slightly about Husband Abuse.
I went to this lecture to understand human behavior in domestic homes, where sometimes there is an abuse. So from what I learned is no matter who you are in the family you might commit an abuse in any form, that is rape, abusive actions or words and so forth. Psychologically mainly questions of why did they do it? What made you do it? Discipining a child is by hurting or use of words only? Why did you hit your wife/husband? What are your emotions when you do it? Is it because of _____ is the reason why you did it? Answers maybe false for pleading of innocence, so persuade politely and calmly and tell them to answer truthfully.
At least this lecture gave me an idea of psychology might be when we go on field work, where we might interview people.
Putting the case of Adeline Yen Mah into this matter would saying that her Niang will be arrested and scheduled for parenting counseling, her father same thing plus charges.
Anyways. My bed is next to me, and it's persuading me to sleep.

I see opportunities in Brunei even though being labelled as "Boring" or "No Nightlife", and it's really peaceful here but only tracfic jams and rainy days. Also, I would love to work where my mom works at the moment, in the hospital...So yeash I'm being positive. AND i don't mind applying for a PR (pernament resident) in Brunei, since I stayed here for about 18 years already!
Just remember that. I'm coming home.

I Shall Sing
I'm singing with my heart out whenever I'm alone in my room and in the bathroom (where complaints from parents due to that I sing so load). Why? I sing? I have to remember songs by heart. I have one recital next week, it will be my final time where I'll be singing infront of people. I sang three times last year in church, and it was a challenge for my introvergentness or anti-socialness. Those days I know my voice sucked, but now I'm confident. I finally found who I match my voice with, those are Michael Buble and Josh Groban. My voice matured from being an absolute tune-deaf and no sense of tuning into a quite confident tune as I can match tune and pitching. I improved so much within a year!
I shall sing 'To Where You Are' by Josh Groban, I suggest you search it. I would dedicate this song to my Family and Friends. Because no matter how far we are. how distanced we are. We are just one breath away. Please find the song, and download it and play it. I'm suggesting to you my dear reader/friend to listen to it, because I know some arent't able to come because we are distant apart [like in singarpore or austrailia or malaysia or whereever]. Please listen.
What do I sing if you ask? It's obivious you see on my MSN personal message. But I'll tell you.
Wo Bu Pei
Long Juan Feng
An Jiing
Ting Ma Ma De Hua by Jay Chou (also the other three above)
Feng Zi by Peggy Hsu
Love Song by Sara Bareilles
You've Got A Friend by James Taylor or Carol King
To Where You Are by Josh Groban
Home
Feeling Good
Wonderful World
That's Life by Michael Buble (also the other three above)
Imagine by John Lennon
Let It Be by Beatles song (or Suan Le! like what james say in Falling Leaves)
You'll Be In Heart by Phil Colins
Can You Feel The Love by Elton John Song
Paano (means 'why?')
Natutulog Ba Ang Dios? (means 'does god sleep?'
The Warrior is A Child by Gary Valenciano songs (as well the other two above this
Distance by Long Shot Party
Parade by CHABA
Friends Forvever by Vitamin C
When I'm Gone by Eminem
That's What Friends are For by Elton John and Co.
Tears In Heaven by Eric Clapton
Celebrate Me Home By Kenny Loggins
If Everyone Cared by Nickelback
and Plus MORE!
Those are the songs I always sing to! Anyways, I got a rehersal soon, I must practice! and Read the Historian. One Update: I got a Haircut! it's Shortish again so yea..
Anyways See you when I see you when I blog again!

As the Leaves Fall Part 2
As I finish Falling Leaves, it became an instant favorite of mine. It's definately I'll re-read again. This book simply defines one's hardship, loniliness and struggle. I see many symbolism in the book. I feel analyzing it for my IB Englsh HL essay, but no I feel an urge of laziness.
One symbolism I'd like to express would be the relevance of Adeline's position in the Family as being unwanted and disregarded, also her struggle for acceptance. I can see this in many parts of history of the world. For such as Nelson Mandela's pursue for equality and acceptance of black people in South Africa, the blacks strugge for social acceptance in the USA and also the racial boundary that is widespread during the cold war [1946 - 1989], where people who were communist or born from/have a blood from a communist country are straight away disregarded and known to be minorities. This of such I could place a really good example, which the philippines. It's a pro-american country (I of the opposite), so during the cold war the Chinese and chinese-filipinos (such as my faternal grandmother) were greatly disregarded and known to be minorities. As such today, China prosper and it's the other way round. China is the top of the chart and very laughable against westerns that us asians are very much prospering!
Why did the book became an instant favorite of mine? Easy and simple answer for that, it made me wonder about my faternal grandmother. It touched me and awed in disgust on how adeline was treated during her childhood being unwanted. Disgusted by the near end of the book where she looked back where her san ke gege urinated into her orange juice. There are so many symbolism in the book, I would definately recommend this to my friends. And of course, all books have happy endings and sad endings, this book. A touching ending.
This book gave me an idea in future, where I'd write my own book based on my family and my own history. It'd be revealing, yes, but may do something that'll be pleasant and no harm will be done.
I now start a fresh new book, I am having a dilemma of which book to read. Stalin's Ghost, a book that caught my eyes when I was looking around my favorite book shop in gadong. Or The Historian a book also caught my eyes. Which should I read? No matter, which ever book I pick up tomorrow morning is the book I will definately read!
Now I'll depart with this qoute:
"The way I see it, The nineteeth century was a British century. The twentieth century is an American century. I predict that the twenty-first century will be a Chinese century." - Adeline's Aunt Baba
That qoute is in fact true.
Something to ponder why: Why on earth would somebody[that somebody is a lady] have the 'happy birthday' song be copyrighted?

As The Leaves Fall Part 1
As I read Fallinmg Leaves, it makes me wonder about my faternal grandmother. How did my Faternal Grandmother lived her life? Why she didn't taught my dad or children chinese? Why did she hid her chinese name? And then change it? Is it because the social status in cold war? Where the Chinese were considered by many Pro-American supporters as the 'Minority'? What was her family was like?
As I read falling leaves, I can put the chinese people in the philippines during those times, into Adeline. I can see such symbolism that connects well with some of my dad's stories of his experience with my grandmother. Such as, planning sending my dad to Taiwan to study at Chiang Kai-Shek University, which didn't happen due to that social boundary and status which annoys me, but now it's the other way round. And as well the social boundaries and status being of being considered the 'Minority" and look whose laughing now! [Laughs sinsterly like Dr. Evil from Austin Powers]
I'll tell you how I met my faternal grandmother, which only once in my life time. I met her around December 2001, my dad surprisingly took us (me, my mom and my maternal grandparents) to his mom's place in his hometown. I sat in their living room, looking at pictures, it was shock to me that basically that many of their faces looked quite chinese. Like me. So we waited. After a few minutes, I was astonished how old she was. Eighty-Nine or Ninety something, I can't remember clearly. Her face was frail and aging, and very chinese. Much more chinese than filipino even though quite tannish skin. Her eyes filled with tears as I hugged her for the first time and mano (mano is in respect to my relatives, godparents and close family friends, where one young one must take the right hand and place the top of their hand onto his/her forehead as a sign of respect). She was very happy. Smiling and excited to see her grandson for the first and last time.
After a year upon meeting her, she died a natural peaceful death (god bless her soul). I didn't attend the funeral, why you ask? I was still young, I still didn't have the courage to look at a dead body. But I had my moment of silence. It was a long silence. My grandparents kept me company, telling me that she was happy to see me for the first time and she died happily from seeing me at last. Also she would want to see me happy.
On the way back to brunei, while in the terminal in the Philippinese. I cried my heart out all of the sudden. It's like the tears I reserved bust out! People looked me and my dad, all I did was continue crying until I reached home. After that incident, Philippine Airlines never travelled to brunei ever again. My fault I know.
At school after this tragedy, I was quiet and hid my sorrow as I told my mom not to give me a black armband. I rather hide my sorrow and expose it, sadly enough, no one in school noticed my extreme quietness. I felt no comforting matter. I was given more courage to move on.
Now, I want to learn more about my Faternal Grandmother. I really want to know her full chinese name. I want to know alittle more about her. Reading Falling Leaves, made think about it. I wondered now and more often. My plan? Maybe I would go back to my dad's hometown, in their house. I'll do my research on finding the history of faternal mother. She's the only real connection my chinese side, and also the reason why I want to be more chinese than Filipino, but my nationality is Filipino but I'll proudly say I am Chinese Filipino, my dad is filipino chinese(but doesn't know how to speak chinese) and my mom a filipino (with some chinese blood). My objective? Improve my mandarin is now one of my top priorities.
And may I say, Falling Leaves is becoming an instant favorite of mine now. It basically made me wonder about my Faternal Grandmother.
Update:
Miri trip looks grim, my parents are edgy with budgeting of money for philippines. Recitals next week Friday Night, if anyone wants to come please tell me. My mom has a new mobile phone (wuupee....), now have to put mp3 songs. I again forgot to go to school today to borrow mandarin CD4 and book 3 and 4, for my reference and attempting to improve my mandarin whenever I have frees in Philippines. I couldn't finish my 4 disc RPG xbox 360 game, disc 4 freezes! must change tomorrow. Last night, I had trouble sleeping. I basically couldn't sleep until I put my blindfold glasses then I fell asleep. Will meet up with my friends to watch the new Jet Li and Jackie Chan Movie! Forbidden Kingdom, I predict there'll be more physics defying martial arts!
Notes:
A thank you for Lu Wee for recommending me this book, A BIG THANK YOU!
Friends who wants to know my homephone number and address in the philippines tell me and I'll email you! Mobile phone soon maybe
Friends who wants japanese receipes, tell me and I'll hit the forward button!
Recital date is 25th April 2008, 7pm. I'll tell you where it is if you are coming, It's an open invitation by the way.
My flight is 21st May 2008, 10:30pm departure. Come see me as I fly! then return next year april for my summer break in brunei!
As I read falling leaves, I can put the chinese people in the philippines during those times, into Adeline. I can see such symbolism that connects well with some of my dad's stories of his experience with my grandmother. Facts
There are facts I have to face, facts that I had to admitt.
One fact is that I have to wear school uniform, which pretty weird for going to college. I understand that astonished face you have when you read school uniform, it was a shocker for me as well, but I have to face it. It's a college that is very much old fashioned in way of student clothing BUT at least I can keep my hair in any length, not the long one I'm keeping it short. Also it's one the college or universities that still very much get students to wear uniforms.
Another fact to my astonishment after reading abit of war crimes and astocities, the world is a cruel place when it's at war. People seem to forget the humanity of humans. Take the examples of Mao, Hitler and Stalin, two were ethic cleanesing and two were policies being progressed. After those events, I begin to understand why human rights committee in the United Nations and various other organizations have that committee. Where they pursue for human equalities and rightfulness, that's why praises to Nelson Mandela, Martin Luther King Jr. and various other freedom fighters in the past where they fought for their belief.
Another fact shocking fact to me, people are still racists. Even though so many campaigns by many organizations like FIFA, We Are One and so forth, there are still racists! Take one example would be the critism of races would be at the moment the chinese (which would include me in fact as I am chinese in blood), likewise sure they made some mistakes in production lines but that's a small matter! Also upon learning that the chinese are very much lowlifes during my faternal mother's times, where she had to hide her chinese name and wasn't able to teach my faternal side of the family any chinese because of the annoying social boundary caused by the American politics of democracy (which is now republican or democratic and indeedly weird why there are two parties) and commonism....I feel insulted and absolute disgusted whenever people make racist jokes and what so ever. I have to admitt I do have a racist and judgemental side, well that was before until I learned that racial insults will not only be harmful but destroy your social well being. This is one fact that we have to face actually, we all have racist sides no matter what we do and to change is hard but we can change bit by bit, one step of every movement.
Another horrific fact is that the likeliness of me doing criminal psychology is a no-no, why? Well, try reading the "The True Jack the Ripper". It scares me going inside a criminal mind, it'll drive me nuts. That is why I've choosen Medical Psychology, safer and only have to face clients with problems and mental issues and such. Not like the psychaitrist in the cartoon of The Mask, who does crossword puzzles.
I'm looking forward for psychology, especially I heard I have to choose subjects for it! (which I heard from my parents experience of college in philippines) English would be in my list and to be honest I fell in love with english during IB. Another one would be biology and maths, I know why I need bio but maths? no complicated equations please, my maths are algebra and business. A funny joke by mom "You know all your patients will receive black eyes" and I ask "why?" my mom answers "You would have punched them in the eye instead to knock some sense into them. Your fellow doctors would ask 'what had happened to your patients?' and my answer would be 'They had too much make-up on their eyes, that's why it's black'" (she was noting my temperment issues I had).
A fact I have to face once landing in the philippines, I'll have no sleep. Why? in the next day would be enrollment for the for first year of college. I know it's crazy but I plan not to sleep because I rather read a book than sleep. And it's a late night flight! 10:30pm would be departure, arrival would be about 1am, and might arrive at the house around 2am or so, depending on the traffic. So late! it's like driving over night to miri or KK! Might as well read a book rather listen to in flight radio or yawning shows...maybe a power nap? like my last flight last year where I fell asleep where I rested my eyes and ended up falling asleep!
A Fact, people judge by appearances. True and disturbing fact, take for example for me, I'm fat and very serious looking (like Kaim in Lost Odyssey but he's slimmer), but reality I'm different from my appearance may describe. Likewise, get to know the person better and deceide, is he or she a real friend or just an utter illusion that is deceptive (like in the Art of War).
Updates lately: I bought 3 new books (Lu Wee, I note and apologizes that bought another 3 more books), three above I've mentioned already. They are must reads in my opinion, for those interested in crime, read The True Jack The Ripper and War Crimes and Astrocities. Influencial people would be Freedom Fighters.
Today I realized that I'm celebrating Mother's day in Brunei in may, this will final maybe. So ting mama de hua! Also realizing psychology will be tough and interesting and requires alot of patience, so I might look for an anger management course or use my old tactic the keeping the anger in a glass-ball.
Also, I believe the glass is half-full, it's never empty!
To friends who would love to air mail me or phone me in the philippines or would just want to know, you may ask me and I'll send you an email! I might even give you my free tour of the philippines and free stay in a guest room!
Again to friend, who wants japanese receipes! I got some from UBD Japanese Cultural week! tell me and I'll fire away!
Note: I might post a second segment of True or False tomorrow afternoon, so please do answer once it's posted!
Anyways I gotta go, it's really late!

Raising A Baby/Child
My parents talked about my babyhood and childhood. The comical and yet embarassing stories of me being raised by them. The hardships yeas, the comical part yes, the scary part...well unless there ghosts then maybe.
After hearing these stories of me being raised by grandparents and my parents, I wondered...What will it be like when I'm raising my very first child...I thought for while and realized it'll be a good laugh after a few years of raising the child and it'll be hard...How hard? well I experienced it abit while taking care of babies in my mom's ward before, where I learned how hold the baby properly, feed it properly and others...but the diapers bit...not yet...Then in my IB early years, I took care of pre-kindergarden children...It was fun fun and interesting, I begin to understand children more. I missed natasha...my favorite girl i took care of in pre-kindergarden, she's like me, the quiet and silent one and very shy...yeash she reminds me of me actually! And the naughty boy Hiro, interesting enough he speaks japanese so I was able to use my anime language with him! [sighs] I miss those little guys.
So yeash, I very much experienced even though growing up without any younger siblings, I learned things by myself.
So after 10 or more years, I maybe prepared for my first child. Hopefully that is. Also I plan not to have any relationships in college life..It'll be a false distractive love in my opinion.
Anyways I'm off to revise and hope to pass my japanese orals.

Why are you blogging?
Good question. I'm distracted from my revision! Japanese Oral Tomorrow night! Will it be like my Mandarin Orals where I nearly flunked it and lucky getting a C for my mandarin orals! Or will I be smooth sailing to get the certificate!
Parts that are easy for me are:
- Introducing yourself
- Asking who is that
- Asking What is that
- Asking whose is this
- asking whether this or that is
- Numbers
- Items
- Price
- Asking Where is this/that/there place
- Asking Which school/uni/company/country you're from
- And answering those asking thingys
- Several conversations in the notes
My Weakness:
- Time
- What time is this place open to...
- Some of the conversation in the notes
Okay apparently the recent topic is my weakness.....Hopefully my classmates go easy on me on the time subject! It's a group Oral By the way!
Nervous? Ish...Mental block? Not really...
I gotta go and study study! my fifth big exam in my whole gap-year since IB finishing! [two entrance exams, driving test (i combines driving and written), vocals and now this!)
Believe Believe!

Birdie
This little birdie got lost into our Kitchen! And how lucky me to take pictures and catch it! After a series of pictures, I set this little birdie free! And I thought it would suddenly when I throw it outside like they do on books, movies and TV but this birdie droped and flapped abit and landed on our terrace where we hung our clothes...with my pity I tried helping him or her or it to fly! so after a series of attempts it went to it's home.....in it's bird's nest next to our washing machine....Who would've have know they're our really close by neighbors!
Anyways, here's tje pictures of this little birdie that is almost the size of my hand.

Cool eh?
Remember: Disney is still the best cartoons, they base on family and friendship!
But Garfield, Snoopy, Tom and Jerry, little lulu and some Cartoon Network cartoons are still Funny! like Yogi and Scooby!

Sleeping Habits And Daily Routine
My sleeping habits, well I know I've been sleeping abolutely late because of reading, playing xbox 360 and watching football/favourite Gordon Ramsay's TV shows. But I'm going to talk about my sleeping habits depending on the situation.
First of all during school days, I always sleep early around 10:30pm or 11:00pm then wake up aound 4:30 am or 5:00am. So mostly when I arrive early to events like BGIC and school, I'll still be half asleep for about an hour upon arrival likewise I'll leave the house around 6:30 and arrive around 6:45, to find out the school and a building is still quite empty and very peaceful. So friends and teachers I spoke to in the early morning, forgive me as I'm half-asleep upon my arrival.
Secondly and finally, holidays. It all depends really, if it's december and it's a week before christmas, I have to attend a mass around 5:00am (which is called misa de galleo). So I won't sleep until I finished the mass, then after the mass I'll hit the bed and sleep til lunchtime. If only a school holiday I'll sleep around 12am then wake up around 8 or 9am. If my mom is night duty (meaning from 10pm to 7am), I won't sleep until it's 3am or 4 am, but this only during holidays in brunei. In philippines, it really depends on the book I'm reading or the TV show I want to watch, I usually hit the bedroom around 10pm then read an all nighter until 2am. And if we have a road trip like to bulacan, dagupan and this May will bagiao where we always plan to leave in the early hours of 4am and 5am, I won't sleep. Until I get in the jeep or van or car, then I'll sleep.
But now, my parents told me when I get to philippines to study, I have to sleep around 9:30 or 10pm and wake up 3am or 4am. It is because the traffic and it's very different from brunei.
So yeash my sleeping habits depends on the situation, if it's a holiday sleep late, if it's a school week sleep early as I can.
Now my Daily Routine.
Everyday, I do my hygenine things...I don't have to be specific do I?
Everyday, I check people's blogs 3 three times a week to see if there are updates or anything.
Everyday, I read a book until the next chapter or the next paragraph break.
Everyday, I play xbox 360 for 2 to 3 hours.
Everyday, I watch mythbusters in discovery channel. 12pm and 5pm and sometimes 10pm
Everyday, I go online and check my email, facebook, friendster, news and msn messenger. But going online in msn depends really if I have an urge to blog.
Tuesdays and Wednesdays, i have japanese lessons, but might end after the exam this week. However I might continue level 2 also.
Weekends, I watch live football matches on the TV and also go to church.
Somedays, there are football matches in the week. So might stay up to watch these matches.
Everyday, I sing to practice.
Somedays, I go out and do something.
Every night, I sleep.
And now, good bye! see you when i see you

Weekends, I watch live football matches on the TV and also go to church.
Somedays, there are football matches in the week. So might stay up to watch these matches.
Everyday, I sing to practice.
Somedays, I go out and do something.
Every night, I sleep.
And now, good bye! see you when i see you

Miri or KK?
Some things I'm looking forward of doing this June are doing psychology a subject that is so wide that you'll be amazaed on how psychiatrists are on demand at the moment (Like Brunei and Singapore), having my birthday celebrated in philippines (turning shi jiao sui, nineteen) and first time studying in philippines, so teaching wise will be different.
Before I chose Psychology last year November, I was thinking of psychology, mass communication and accountancy. Psychology is interesting especially you can study the human mind and behaviors [more likemy kind of job, I love observing and analyzing people when I'm in the room), mass com. I don't know why but I think because newsbroadcasters are somewhat cool sometimes and accountancy for taking until I pass the exam and go into business law. So you might get the idea if you've read my previous blog posts last year or so why I made a big desicion from Law to Medical Psychiatrist.
Yesterday, my parents and I are thinking whether we should go to kk or miri. because my flight to philippines is now around May 21 10:30pm so my arrival is around past midnight until 1am....and registering the following morning [may 22], where I decided not to sleep because we're going out the following morning.
So here's the thoughts we had, Miri close by, KK far need aeroplane, miri can travel by car, kk a very long car trip, Both has risks of Brunei cars being stolen, Miri I haven't been there since I've been playing Super Nintendo, KK I haven't been there since playing my PS2 in year 11, Both places are really nice places to visit....So our desicion was Miri, close and may have to stay overnight in an hotel.
So Miri here we come! *prepares invasion equipment* this mid-may.
What am I going to look for?
- One Book: The Last Samurai
- Liverpool Jersey
- The Cave
- Peek at Curtin: just a peek
- Shop a bit
This May, I'll be basically at home all my time, reading books..why? I'll be leaving choir, I'll end my vocal lessons so yea I'll be at home reading and reading, playing and playing, watching and watching and sleeping and sleeping and eating. Maybe I should do is continue japanese night school, Level 2.
So ja mata!

Packing part...I lost count
Today, I placed all my DVD PS2 games, anime and movies, also packed other things like my air beds and things to bring. So yeah, pretty much I've been sulking and packing.
Yesterday I finally finished reading American Gods, it took me about a week and two days..Well finally anyways because it was thick odd and it was the author's preferred version. So today I started reading Amy Tan's Joy Luck Club, and to my surprise there's a lot of first person characters..about six or eight i think. Also yesterday we got broadband, including a free laptop...how? it was a bmobile offer, buy broadband free laptop! So yea...all day yesterday I was teaching my parents on how to use it since they want to learn and be able to comunicate with me.....which they gave me massive headache...some many questions here and there! aiyo....malas I teach them how to download using torrent. [laughs]
Also yesterday, I FINALLY FOUND PEGGY HSU'S TWO ALBUMS TORRENT! yesah it was a BIG FINALLY! now my problem is the long downloading time! On my laptop it's slowish and the new one, so fast but yet one problem the download keeps on dying from time to time. How did I find it? easy! I put first the mandarin name of her's and her albums, first try I got her balloon album while wish box one I couldn't sing. So second try I typed her name then her album name and torrent in the end, and TA-DOI! I found it! Forget that part....I now gave up on those torrents....they died on me after an over night download [sighs], BUT I got a youtube downloader! which converters video you downloaded from youtube! into mp3 or what ever! cool eh? So now if I couldn't find any songs from my torrents, I'll go to youtube and tube in to find the muic video then *ting* done!
Anyways, got to continue packing and decide what books am going to read for april and first week of may and three weeks into philippines.
I'll see you when I do blog!

- Losing friendships...that's the most painfulest thing would happen to me if it did happen...
- when friends leave...I tend to be quiet...why? it's hard when to see people leave
- Loneliness...I'm very much alone most of my time...it's hard really
- Leaving for good...I promise to myself that I will still go to brunei whenever I can
Remember, as we go on. We'll return to one place where we all began. I'm sure that 100% of us will be coming back to brunei after we've done our university studies, especially people like me, who are born and brought up in brunei. And I'm positive about this theory, where no matter where you go..you'll always comeback where you've begin your life and you'll end it there.
Me? Wo de? Moi? Ako? Watashi? I'm very sure I'll be coming back to Brunei. Wei She me? why? I see opportunities in Brunei even though being labelled as "Boring" or "No Nightlife", and it's really peaceful here but only tracfic jams and rainy days. Also, I would love to work where my mom works at the moment, in the hospital...So yeash I'm being positive. AND i don't mind applying for a PR (pernament resident) in Brunei, since I stayed here for 18 years already!
Just remember that. I'm coming home.
