One thing that is funny is that I actually welcome the workload from my professors within my subjects, while my younger classmates are sadly moaning the fact that there's lots of workload to do. But they have to get used to it, because that's IB life...I mean uni life.
I really welcome the workload for one real reason, I went for a gap year or a year break from studying....where we either hang out with our family more or work or learn other things...for example, I enrolled vocal lessons and learned japanese. And did more bonding time with my parents...as well Read loads of books to kill some time as well.
Weekly I have quizes and daily I have workload to do.
Updates:
I got my Student ID! My picture looks bloody chinese! well, that's what my classmates think I am....Chinese! *laughs*
I got quizes this week! and I predict more this coming weeks and my first round of exams are coming soon.
I'm going to get my subject manuals and PE uniform tomorrow since I got PE tomorrow.
Right now, I'm reading my notes for English and Chemistry. And also reading some blogs.
Electricity in my library WILL finally be active this week! I mean it, FINALLY, takes so long to approve the electricity of the new living room, library and my room....well lately I'm sleeping in my parents room.
I got piles of text books, psychology, chemistry, zoology, filipino lanuguage, english and political science/phil. gov and constitution. Which are very interesting!
Last update, I sleep around 9pm and wake up 4am!
Bah I go, my class starts around 7:30am and ends around 6pm
Good Night!

Age Differences
Okay, in my classes we all have a age differences. Some of my classmates are a year to three years younger than me, which is why they call me 'Kuya' meaning big brother. Then some of my other classmates are either a year or two or three or more older than me!
My friends are two to three younger than me while the korean friend of mine is about two to three years older than me. (which I predict, will become my tutorial buddy soon since I'm waiting for a phone call about the requested tutorials I enquired about...and also we're viewed as foreign students since we came from different countries [hence I grew up in Brunei for all my life])
So what's my point?
Education doesn't pick an age, you can study as long as you want or old as you want to study as much you want.
Still I'll find it weird if a forty-year old plus person would be studying still.
I love eating egg pies! They taste soo good....argh headache too much pie....

Okay
Update Time!
Hmmm at this moment, I'm doing my Philippine Government and Constitution homework. This subject is very much connected with Politcal Science, so it's a very very interesting subject for me since I get ask curious political questions like communism and so on! *grins*
I'll be learning Korean soon. It was an agreement(maybe not) with my dear korean friend(female) today. The agreement is that I teach her some english and she'll teach me some korean. coolio eh?
Hmm I got quizes next week and the following weeks...quizes meaning mini tests!! and they count for my grades! yeouch! And my first set of exams is coming in 5 weeks!! Crazy Crazy! After that, in the next 6 weeks is my mid-term exams! then after another 6 weeks I have my FINALS!! SHOOTO! Alot of work!
I'm piled with some work so yea, happy busy busy!
Okay another weird thing is that my body automatically wwakes up between 3am and 4:30am. It's like an auto-biological reaction of my body acting like some sort of a bio alarm clock.
What else? My mom is coming to Philippines this August...she'll check on me and renew her license for healthcare nursing.
I'm also paying my bills tomorrow....yes I pay the bills now, since I've been told to do most of the things by myself.
Okay...anyways I'll bug off and have fun studying!

Broken Glasses
I broke the frame of my glasses during a practical quiz...I know it sucks right?
So far, uni life is smooth sailing with new friends and lotsa homework being bombarded. I like my socialogy class today, our prof is so cool that I could laugh.
I'm now struggling with my taped frame, it's side by the way the joint. It's now taped and now I have to wait a month until my sends my new glasses that was reserved.
Anyways, I'll it a short update, since it's all about university and homework loads, and tests as well.... so I'll see you soon.

Sigh...typhoon season....
Hello and welcome to the typhoon season,
This here is a tour and advice during a typhoon.
Expect no water and electricity, this will depend where you are and who operates the supply.
As you can see that the rain will be extremely strong and absolutely windy. Wind strenght is very strong that it can tumble a banana tree. Furthermore expect a fllod in several areas, this will depend where you live. Because if you live in a quite a mountainous place the chances of floods is very slim but it'll depend on the drainage system.
My advice?
If there is a typhoon, stay indoors! Don't risk yourself the danger! Be sure you supply yourself with everything you need for the whole month of the season! Have a battery powered radio! listen to the news at night...if it's day read a book and at least attempt to do your assignments.
Update?
It's raining heavily, windy, and finally there's electricity but no water! T_T

Uniform
here's my uniform

here's some donuts

here's some cats from my cousins' place

My grandparent's doggies...posing

Me Happy

Okay...an update. I've been sleeping extremely early, 9:00 or 8:30. And I automatically wake up around 4:30 or 5. I know right, my biological clock is now functioning like it was during schooldays.
Another update, zoology is almost like biology. My new found friend is like a filipino version of my old pal lukman, very philosophical. And sadly, in my science classes (Psychology, Zoology and Chemistry), only three males and twenty-three females. I know, while in my class three students are biology students. so yeash...I see them practically everyday! Anyways, I gotta go and do some homework and so on.

Psychology...
Today psychology was only orientational introduction to the course...like you know grades and so forth..
I found this in our library, from a psychology text book:
Do the things other people do and say ever surprise you? Are you sometimes puzzled by your own thoughts, feelings or reactions? Do you wonder what you'll be like in five or ten years time? Or think about how you compare to ohter persons in terms of your intelligence, personality traits, happiness or psychological adjustment? If so welcome to the club! Most people spend alot of time pondering just such issues.
It caught my attention, so I just might as well share it! The textbook was by some bloke named (last) Baron. It's the introduction by the way.
Oh yeash, my schedule is now updated. Here it is:
Sunday: Freeday
Monday:
Filipino - Sining Ng Pakikipagtalastasan - 9am to 12pm
Zoology - 1:30am to 6:30am
Tuesday:
Basic Communication 2 - 7:30am to 10:30am
Chemistry - 10:30am to 3pm
PE - 4pm to 6pm
Wednesday:
Sociology - Philippine Government And Constitution - 7:30am to 10:30am
zoology - 1:30pm to 6:30pm
Thursday:
Psychology - 1:30pm to 4:30pm
Friday:
Chemistry - 1:30pm to 4:30pm
Saturday:Freeday
As you can see, my schedule is now much more hectic than ever! compared to my last one, this one is more crazier! Three days I'll be in school up to night time...Joy of Joys yea?
Note: My Mom's birthday was on 17th June...so happy birthday! 48th!
Anyways, grandma nagging me to sleep!
I'll see you!

Parental Love...
My parents have just gone to Brunei today...I'm now alone with my grandparents...I don't what to feel.
I feel emotionless, I don't whether I should be sad and cry or keep my head strong and stay focus...I just don't really know.
My mom cried...I felt like the parental love will be gone for five months until christmas...She said "This will be the first time I will leave my only son alone"...I know it is touching but...me? I felt like a deadman, staring blankly....
My grandma said "You're a gentleman now, you mustn't cry, you must stay focus and sontinue to work hard as much as you can, so you can bring happiness to your family"
Rethinking what my grandma said is true, I must be head strong.....and study as much as I can.
i know finally understand parental love...which one parent's devotion for their children where they scarifice everything.
Uni Life
Uni life at the moment is hectic, my schedule is being fixed up. I like Zoology as much as I like studying the Life and works of Rizal! And guess what! I got exams in the next 6 weeks and homework is piling in!
I made a couple of friends...though i don't know them too well yet...But I can tell you they're nice! and I see them four times a week! I finally met the Korean girl whom the registar mentioned. Yea we have the same group of friends...we're just a small group of practically nobody who just met in chemistry class who went into the wrong room.
So yea, uni life hectic...homework here and there, my first test is this monday!
Anyways...Uniform pictures will be this friday...and see you soon...
I feel down now...thinking about it...

19
I turn 19 today! My wish everyone to be happy and glad! And everyone to pass their university studies! And I wish that I meet you guys again! And also some wishes that are private.
Today, all close family friends and relatives visited us and we had a day out! Fun Fun! Also I was able to finally give my godchild his Optimus Prime toy! It was his birthday last month, so it’s my belated birthday for him!
Since I turn 19, I’ll do a 19 list.
1) I love my family, no matter how bad nor how good it gets. They’re still family! And they are irreplaceable! I would mostly miss my parents since they’re setting me semi-free in Philippines, where I have to take care of my grandparents and also myself.
2) I love my friends, that means you my dear reader! I love you my friend! I miss you, and we’re distanced apart. I still remember how some of us met! Some are funny meetings (BGIC V) while some are school meetings. I still haven’t found a new friend though….yeash I know it’s sad that I still haven’t got a new friend but I will find one! Remember, you’re in my heart my friends!
3) God, I thank for everything. Guidance and everything. The blessing for my parents and friends. Everyday and further on, please still guide them on.
4) My love of books, to be honest. I got some unread books. It’s like I’ve read some and more but eventually I get to finish them. And I love books. I’m the bookworm of the family!
5) Anime Rocks. I love anime, they’re funny, action, stupid, drama and cool! I like the classics like Speed Racer and Ranma ½. I still prefer anime that is in Japanese. English Dubs are no go.
6) Music, I love music. I listen to Jazz, Rock, Pop, Classics, j-pop, c-pop and some r n b or rap. Commonly is jazz, I was introduced to jazz by my mom when I was 16 and I’ve been listening to jazz since then. As I type this, I’m listening to jazz! I suggest you listen to jazz, like Love Song by Sara Berallies. It’s a pop-jazz song.
7) My collection! My mini-nature anime collections! And my tamiya as well. I collect these things, it really gives me something to look for.
8) My education, it’s a life long gift from our parents and we shouldn’t waste it! They’ve been giving us this gift since we were wee little kids! And it’s our turn to give them back something they could be proud of.
9) Cooking, thank god I learned how to cook when I was 16. I was able to make my own scrambled egg and pepperoni sandwich. With mayonnaise and ketchup. Now I experiment with different tastes and also keeping an eye on health of course.
10) Gaming, I’m a console gamer. My biggest weakness is computer/cpu gaming. Still, my strong point is consoles. Sports to shooters to strategy to manager to fighting. They can kill off some stress and let’s your fingers do the talking against your friends. (note: Last year during my birthday at empire [since it was prom night as well], I destroyed my friend in naruto. Seriously, he beat more than once during frees in schools but during that night, my tactics and character range knowledge worked and I beat him 7-3.)
11) Godparents and my only godchild. I got loads of godparents and I got only one godchild. So, I’m just hoping them the best and I sometimes wonder what are they doing.
12) My family history. I found out so many when I arrived in Philippines. Amazingly I cannot deny the facts! Especially I’m Chinese! ….Filipino-Chinese to be more accurate.
13) The educational channels, I miss history channel and myth busters lately. I can’t watch history channel since they don’t have it in the cable and myth busters I can’t catch since I’ve been sleeping early.
14) I cannot wait for school/university! And it’s tomorrow! I hyped! I heard everyone in this newly built university are freshmen, and I will try my very best to make new friends!
15) Thinking, I think a lot. I seriously mean a lot! I think of different things at the same times that I sometimes end up with no sleep.
16) Responsibility. I have more responsibility in Philippines than in Brunei. In Brunei it was my parents who took care of me…Now it’s me looking after my grandparents.
17) Disney. Disney channel is the channel for the family!
18) Remembering my childhood and Schooldays before university life. It is true that if we spend more time by ourselves relooking back in the past, the more likely we’ll reminiscence the past and talk about good and bad times, ups and downs. Furthermore, it’s funny but coincidence that some of us has similar experiences and background…But yet it can be quite emoish but still it’s all good!
19) Now that I’m Nineteen, I’m being told to act more mature. But to me, being mature is just being thinking in a adult way. I do act mature at times BUT I’m a kid at heart, I’m a playful person in some ways I can tell you that. I’ll just say our age is just a number of years since we’re born, and when we age. We are still who we are.
Be Happy, Glad and Well!

Crisis and so on
Everyday, it's a crisis. How so? Well prices on a rise. Prices of gasoline is on a rise again, it's almost a daily or weekly rise nowadays. Food prices are rising slowliy but funny. You know, here in Philippines donuts are cheap! 12 pieces in one box 120 pesos! Pizza also pretty cheap 700pesos! [Note:Divide by 30 or 31 or 32]
Also another problem is that Foreign exchange rates are up and down at the moment. The Euro is much more higher than the US.
Here in philippines, there are cars, motorcycles and so on are still functional. Peoples lives here depend on vechicular transportation!
Everyone here are very much monney cautious and also blaming the US.
Me? I'm just enjoying life but still need to be cautious about the money I spend and aware of these crisis problemos.
AND I need a job! An English part-time assistant Teacher will do! But I can't since independece age is 21. Yeash very different yes?
In Philippines follow everything american and everyone has an "American Dream". Don't worry, I don't have an "American Dream" but I have an "Asian dream"! Which I have no idea what it is.
I'm alittle worried, because I cannot imagine the world to be like during the time before the Second World War. Where it's a deprression of stocks and prices were soaring up high! Imagine a piece of bread for $10!
Another thing that concerns me, is the weather. The climate changes worries me. It keeps on getting hotter and hotter everyday! And I'm worried of the typhoon season coming soon, since my University is on a hill and safe from the floods.
Anyways, I gotta go and wait for donuts...I'm hungry at the moment but I won't be when you're reading this.
Note: I'll post my Uniform Photos this this weekend or next week.

Updates
Today and Tomorrow will have alot of things happening. Important things, not books, not gaming and so on. It's more university related.
Tonight, I'll be going to tailor shop and fetch my Uniform top. The materials were my mom's uniform cloth. So you can imagine that my uniform might be unbelievably hot. Hot as in temperature. They are 3 pieces..so yea.
Also, tonight I'll be printing my timetable. Meaning it's my planner some sort. Like what do I have to do and stuff. Also my schedule as well.
Tomorrow 1pm, I have an ID picture shoot. The school requires ID passes, so I have to take a picture. They didn't say anything about attire...so I'll go wearing my old uniform top or my liverpool top!
That's all I got to update.

Thinking Of You
My Dear Friends and Family,
I've been thinking of you, day and night. My thoughts on wondering awe about you, I wonder what are you doing right now.
Why am I thinking of you? There are many reasons why I'm thinking of you.
- I miss you my family and friends
- I love you my family and friends
- I miss chatting, talking and hanging out with you. I miss you dearly. I miss your caring love, your concern, your funny quirks, your funny jokes, your support and many more I miss.
Everyday, I think of you. I wonder how are you doing lately without me. I think in my heart that you either miss me or you don't miss me. As we have moved on and found new friends and other things. But I am sure deep within your hearts, you do miss me and extremely concern on how am I doing.
Me? I've moved on through my education but my emotional scar is deeply scared. I've still not recovered from my emotional saddess of missing my parents and friends. And here am I, glad that I'm with my grandparents where my responsibility have either doubled or tripled, where I have to adapt to the daily hardships. However, still I need time to recover from my emotional injury.
Now you know why am I thinking of you through my studies, I'm in constant wonder asking myself "I wonder how is (name)" or "What's up with (name)" and so on.
Remember, I miss you and I love you. In my heart and throughout my life, you're in my heart and extremely unforgettable.

Thoughts
Think here and there.
I wonder and ponder.
I wonder about many things.
Especially those around me.
I ponder about my friends.
Mostly my concern and so on.
Thoughts are around me.
The wondering and pondering.
What are my thoughts?
Many thoughts.
It is obivous that I've not recovered.
It is obvious that I'm slightly emo.
One should know everything is fine until it's limit.
Self should know that self is not fine.
They should know and concern.
All should be together.
Okay, lately I'm thinking, wondering and pondering alot recently. About life, family and friends. I'm currently thinking yes. I end up with less sleep lately. Even though I sleep quite early nowadays but I get less sleep by automaticly waking up 3:30 in the morning. Then I'd be in silence thinking about many things.

Anyways, see you soon!

Cable
I have cable TV now, so cool! 77 channels with Chinese Channels, French Channels, Japanese Channels, Korean channels, Spanish, German, English and of course Filipino. At the moment I'm watching the news. Shockingly, there's a typhoon incoming to the Philippines. But not to worry my friends, I'll safe as I'm in a mountain area! But School might be out since the President might issue a 'hold' on schools due to floods.
So What's up? Last night, I'm getting my uniform made, only the top since I got enough black pants for my university. I'll have it next week friday. So once I get the uniform and take a picture of myself, I'll post it on my facebook, friendster and this blog. One thing I can say, it look like a nurse with a black pants...Imagine that now.
This week, my parents are running paper-work. Like renewal stuff of theirs, nothing related to my education.
To be honest, I have a scholarship here in the philippines. It's from the education plan my parents invested in since I was a little boy. So since they've paid it full, I've got myself a scholarship here in the philippines only...I know, it isn't international but still Philippines is cool.
Anyways, I'll be off!

It's Fast
Broadband connection here is faster than Brunei! All downloads are within a ping!
I've been reading two adeline yen mah books. 'Watching a Tree' is about Chinese Philosophy, traditions and so on, while 'Thousand Pieces of Gold' is the history of China. I've finished 'Watching a Tree' which was an interesting to read book, it was like reading a book that has a big important and many things I've learnt from that book too. I also liked it because it gave me an insight of chinese traditions and philosophy. I would recommend it for Philosophy-readers.
'Thousand pieces of Gold' is her new book since 2004, it's all about Chinese Proverbs relating to Chinese history. And it's interesting to read as well.
I've bought 'Shakespeare Sonnets' and Mythology today. I bought them because I wanted to review on my Highschool days.
I also bought a stack of magazines, T3. It's a gadget magazine, yes it is a gadget magazine even though there's an anorexic model on the cover, still I need to be update on gadget news.
Reader's Digest in the month of June have been published yet, I'll have to wait for a week though.
Got a new schedule for my course. I got Wednesday and the Weekend free, while Tuesday, Thursday and Frieday is the busiest of all. Monday? I only got one subject which Philippine History: Jose Rizal, which is a cake since I did Jose Rizal as my Extended Essay as my project essay.
Anymore updates? My Library will be completed by next week while my room is taking a postpone construction. I'm also getting Cable TV tomorrow!
Tomorrow will ishly busy, I just have to keep an eye on the guys who are connecting the cable and the guy whose working on the electricity for the library.
Dang, I'm enjoying my internet speed I could just leap for joy since it's so dililidong fast!
Okay, I'll go off for now. See you guys when I blog again!

Finally Blogged
[Actual Post,Not Pre-Posted]
Hello everyone,
I’m back from the land of offline, and it really sucks that I cannot absolutely blog when I want to. Especially this blog is Semi-Private. Why? My Relatives doesn’t know that I blog! Only my friends know that I blog…Though it seems that very few read this blog anyways.
So what’s up?
I’ve listened and learned some family secrets. Which is mostly about my family historical background, also I was able to confirm that I AM A FILIPINO CHINESE. How? My Maternal Grandmother told me about my great great grandfather [her grandfather, and her memory still fresh since she‘s not over 70 years of age yet], where he had to changed their Chinese names into Filipino or Spanish names because of the communist China during the cold war. In addition, it was also the social status of the Chinese in the Philippines during the cold war, where they were consider the lowest of the low…I know its insulting…especially for me, since learning my Chinese background for the first time. Anyways moving on, wondering what’s my maternal grandmother’s last name [since her last name is now Ognita when she was married]? Her last name or middle name now is Santiago. BUT her Chinese last name is ‘Goh’. Interesting yeas? To be honest, I’m very happy that I found out about this upon my arrival…Especially she told me that I almost look like my great grandfather [may his soul be blessed], Chinese looking and if I was white…which I was when I was little…I would be really Chinese.
This discovery of my family secret is really valuable to me, I was able to find out more about my family. I’m really happy you know but I have to keep it a secret here in Philippines…Why? Chinese people here are rich and also the crime rate of kidnapping is rare…Still It’ll be dangerous.
Fact: My Mother was scared if I went for a vacation in Philippines when I was little, why? I was really white and my Chinese looks is really clear. And Kidnapping was common those days, so it was dangerous to proclaim yourself a Chinese-Filipino.
I still need to find out more of my faternal side of my family, all I know my faternal grandmother is fair and Chinese Filipino and I only met her once.
Okay…So other than that, What’s up?
Just like what Lu Wee said in the tag box. READING and COOKING. Which is true! I cook some stuff. And I’ve been reading Watching a Tree by Adeline Yen Mah, which is about Chinese Philosophy, traditions and so on, very interesting too. Now? Introduction to Psychology and Thousand Pieces of gold. Other than those two of my favorite things to do, I play my Xbox 360 and basketball.
Anymore to add?
I’ve been practicing my mandarin abit! Yi dianr! But my tagalog is rubbish! So many times I’ve unale communicate properly! My pronunciations and so on is sketchy and sucky T_T
Errr….Anymore?
I’m enrolled at Our Lady of Fatima University! It’s one of the Top medical universities in the Philippines and it’s very internationally known! Also it’s very close by too!
Oh yea, I’ve been accredited three subjects. On my first year, my Maths and English has been accredited and has been replaced with semester 2 subjects which are Chemistry and Communication skills level 2. On my second year, my computer science has beeen accredited. BUT I’m disappointed that my two favorite subjects are in my third year! Which are World Literature and Humanities.
More?
I’ve been subject books shopping, for my reference in my studies.
Anymore last updates?
Yeas….My library is completed but my room isn’t, so I’ve been organizing my stuff in that room. And also I finally got Internet! And TV Cable! Finally I don’t have to ask permission to go to my cousin’s place and check my blog and facebook!
Anyways, I’ll be off! See You Real Soon!
