The Irony of it all

Somehow, I have to admit this. Which is that the English Society that I am handling is actually the most active organization apart from the Guidance Counsel organization. Why? We are the Uni's paper. And comparing with the other orgs, they are absolutely dead. I mean seriously, no activities throughout the semester and they can't see the opportunity to actually become active! What i'm trying to say is that the orgs/society in my campus ONLY becomes active when there is a week lurking around the corner which is a disappointment for me to realize that since I've taken a big responsibility to handle this most grueling and demanding society. For example, medical technology week was abruptly the most disastrous week I have encountered in my whole life! By all means, last minute preparations! The biggest no no for all leaders! Another org would be the educs and HRM orgs, why not take the opportunity to actually be an assistant to the school?

I know it is the biggest disappointment I have ever observed. Another of which is the corporation of my org members, some I do understand but come on, come to the meeting when you can! I am currently depending about 15 of members, while the rest....where the hell are you? This is even worst, new members tend to disappoint me! Hence I recruited 6 new members, and they're good! I trust them well but as for my vice, recruited 4 but had 3 attended while one is question mark of whether or not he/she would attend. And I am open for new members, because we need choices! Likewise providing back up when one is unavailable.

And currently, I am keeping english society as active and alive it can be. Because I don't want this society to just roll over and die off in history. I have already made this society close to me and like a mother, i don't want it fail miserably.

Yes, it is an irony. Irony of all things in uni.

Remember 2009 and a decade ago

I might have texted this already, or posted this in facebook. Since, here in the culture of the Philippines, group messaging or sending to a group of friends can be known as a miniature blog to update people or share thoughts and things. pretty interesting too =)
Anyways, here it goes:

As the year turns anew and flips to a new decade, take some time to look back over a decade and a year of our memories, the happy, sad, good, bad, and changing experiences through the years up to now. And have no regrets of the past.

Be grateful for the friend you made and have, be gracious that they are still there for you no matter how new or they are. And be thankful for their loyal support whenever in rough and tough times. And forget and forgive their mistakes, big or small, they made to you.

Finally, be thankful, grateful and gracious for your parents and family, as they have always been there for you through your tough times and their undying support for you to build on your dreams and careers

So, welcome the new year and await new changes, challenges and experiecne that will be coming our way.
