Facts

There are facts I have to face, facts that I had to admitt.

One fact is that I have to wear school uniform, which pretty weird for going to college. I understand that astonished face you have when you read school uniform, it was a shocker for me as well, but I have to face it. It's a college that is very much old fashioned in way of student clothing BUT at least I can keep my hair in any length, not the long one I'm keeping it short. Also it's one the college or universities that still very much get students to wear uniforms.

Another fact to my astonishment after reading abit of war crimes and astocities, the world is a cruel place when it's at war. People seem to forget the humanity of humans. Take the examples of Mao, Hitler and Stalin, two were ethic cleanesing and two were policies being progressed. After those events, I begin to understand why human rights committee in the United Nations and various other organizations have that committee. Where they pursue for human equalities and rightfulness, that's why praises to Nelson Mandela, Martin Luther King Jr. and various other freedom fighters in the past where they fought for their belief.

Another fact shocking fact to me, people are still racists. Even though so many campaigns by many organizations like FIFA, We Are One and so forth, there are still racists! Take one example would be the critism of races would be at the moment the chinese (which would include me in fact as I am chinese in blood), likewise sure they made some mistakes in production lines but that's a small matter! Also upon learning that the chinese are very much lowlifes during my faternal mother's times, where she had to hide her chinese name and wasn't able to teach my faternal side of the family any chinese because of the annoying social boundary caused by the American politics of democracy (which is now republican or democratic and indeedly weird why there are two parties) and commonism....I feel insulted and absolute disgusted whenever people make racist jokes and what so ever. I have to admitt I do have a racist and judgemental side, well that was before until I learned that racial insults will not only be harmful but destroy your social well being. This is one fact that we have to face actually, we all have racist sides no matter what we do and to change is hard but we can change bit by bit, one step of every movement.

Another horrific fact is that the likeliness of me doing criminal psychology is a no-no, why? Well, try reading the "The True Jack the Ripper". It scares me going inside a criminal mind, it'll drive me nuts. That is why I've choosen Medical Psychology, safer and only have to face clients with problems and mental issues and such. Not like the psychaitrist in the cartoon of The Mask, who does crossword puzzles.
I'm looking forward for psychology, especially I heard I have to choose subjects for it! (which I heard from my parents experience of college in philippines) English would be in my list and to be honest I fell in love with english during IB. Another one would be biology and maths, I know why I need bio but maths? no complicated equations please, my maths are algebra and business. A funny joke by mom "You know all your patients will receive black eyes" and I ask "why?" my mom answers "You would have punched them in the eye instead to knock some sense into them. Your fellow doctors would ask 'what had happened to your patients?' and my answer would be 'They had too much make-up on their eyes, that's why it's black'" (she was noting my temperment issues I had).

A fact I have to face once landing in the philippines, I'll have no sleep. Why? in the next day would be enrollment for the for first year of college. I know it's crazy but I plan not to sleep because I rather read a book than sleep. And it's a late night flight! 10:30pm would be departure, arrival would be about 1am, and might arrive at the house around 2am or so, depending on the traffic.So late! it's like driving over night to miri or KK! Might as well read a book rather listen to in flight radio or yawning shows...maybe a power nap? like my last flight last year where I fell asleep where I rested my eyes and ended up falling asleep!

A Fact, people judge by appearances. True and disturbing fact, take for example for me, I'm fat and very serious looking (like Kaim in Lost Odyssey but he's slimmer), but reality I'm different from my appearance may describe. Likewise, get to know the person better and deceide, is he or she a real friend or just an utter illusion that is deceptive (like in the Art of War).

Updates lately: I bought 3 new books (Lu Wee, I note and apologizes that bought another 3 more books), three above I've mentioned already. They are must reads in my opinion, for those interested in crime, read The True Jack The Ripper and War Crimes and Astrocities. Influencial people would be Freedom Fighters.
Today I realized that I'm celebrating Mother's day in Brunei in may, this will final maybe. So ting mama de hua! Also realizing psychology will be tough and interesting and requires alot of patience, so I might look for an anger management course or use my old tactic the keeping the anger in a glass-ball.
Also, I believe the glass is half-full, it's never empty!
